Atlas Van Lines coordinated our move from MA to CA in the middle of August. Once a request was put in online, an agent took down our details within an hour ( potential move dates, size of the housing etc). In about 24 hours a local moving company affiliated to Atlas Van Lines ( New England Household Moving ) contacted us, set up an appointment for a house visit and from there, things proceeded further ahead.
Atlas Van Lines customer service was very professional and helpful throughout the process. Their Affiliates on both ends ( New England Household Moving ( MA) and Macys Movers (CA) ) were professional, efficient and timely.
Their services won't land in the 'cost-effective ' category but they are worth every penny spent as we received our household goods with no damage and in the exact condition they were shipped in. Though the boxes had cosmetic damages ( torn on the ends/ sides) all our stuff was in good shape.
Please do consider moving companies, movers and everything associated with the matter of relocation is a high stake risk, our risk paid off in the positive, you would end up having a totally different experience with the same company and the same people.

I viewed this company delivery furniture to a neighbor and was appalled at thier handling boxes. I literally stood thier and watched them roll a giant piece what appeared to be furniture from thier truck to the ground. I wanted to cry... They will not recoeve any business from myself nor anyone I know. A sad and disconcerting co.
