We recently moved from Long Island to Pennsylvania and decided to hire Avatar after meeting with and receiving an estimate from Chris, one of the owners.
On moving day, Rob and his crew showed up promptly at 8am and by noon had loaded our entire 3 bedroom home onto the truck. They met us the next morning in PA and just 5 hours later had unloaded some of our things into our new apartment and the rest into 2 storage lockers that are located about a mile away. These guys work their tales off. They are professional, respectful, honest, friendly and well humored.
When it came time to settle the bill I was told that our 'load' came in 600 lbs. underweight which saved us a few hundred bucks off the estimate. They didn't have to do that, but it speaks to the honesty and integrity of this company.
I could not imagine a better moving experience.

Avatar Relocation out of New York (Long Island) was an extremely favorable experience. They say moving is one of the most stressful times in a person's life, but I have to say that 'Danny' and his crew made it so simple and reassuring. They did an awesome job packing our house and loading everything into the truck for our move to California. The delivery took place about a week later and couldn't have gone smoother. Danny's leadership and attention to detail was outstanding! All our items were delivered in excellent condition without a single scratch and nothing was broken. My wife and I were so impressed with the professionalism that I asked Danny if I could keep his number for future moves. Since our move to CA, Danny has been our 'go to guy' for my brothers' moves and Danny recently moved my parents from GA to MN!

Incredible service, great communications, punctual, and you are treated like family. Danny's demeanor and charisma make you want to become his friend! We certainly hope Danny will be available when the time comes to venture back to the East Coast!!

I highly recommend Chris N. and his exceptional company for your next move. During the process of preparing to move from Long Island to Florida I interviewed 6 moving companies. I read every review, called some companies multiple times to question their policies and how their process would work. I called Avatar movers last as I became frustrated at how sleazy all the other movers made me feel.
Well that feeling ended when I met with Chris Noblit at my home to get an estimated quote. He was very professional, honest and upfront about the whole process. His policies on downpayment and final payment were the best I could find. I also was able to put the whole cost on my credit card which was fantastic and safe. Chris gave an estimated weight based on what he saw at our home and I couldn’t believe that he was accurate within a few pounds. Amazing!
On moving day the most polite, hardworking crew arrived and my wife and I immediately knew we had made the right choice. They took care of every detail and were gentle and caring with our stuff. Danny the driver was excellent and gave us his cell number. He told us we could call him at any time and get informed about when we could expect him to arrive.
I also need to point out that Avatar is not the cheapest, nor the most expensive. Their price was right in the middle. They have the fairest policy on weight charges and it’s all very upfront, fair and honest. I was surprised at all of the hidden fees and tricks other movers employ and felt safe using Avatar.
I am a very good shopper and try hard to vet every company and vendor I use. I can confidently recommend Avatar moving for your move without hesitation.
