Avi Moving & Trucking Inc

With pleasure I submit this recommendation without hesitation. His crew was beyond wonderful. I rarely post but the move was seamless. Avi not the owner but the lead person made sure everything proceeded. It took 2 days but that was planning. If anyone needs to move do nit hesitate to call them. There were no add ons other gimmicks. Price quoted was price paid.

My siblings and I are preparing to put our family apartment on the market. There was a lot of stuff.

I first contacted Avi Moving on the recommendation of Strand Booksellers. They purchased several thousand books from us. We had already boxed them, but they still required a significant effort to move the hundreds of boxes from the UES to downtown.
Their guys came in, carted out the boxes, and brought them downtown. Couldn’t have been easier.
I had had a positive experience, so the following week I asked if they could move 2 large pieces of furniture from the same apartment to an apartment nearby.
This time we saw how their team carefully wrapped up the furniture, brought it down to their truck, and transported and carefully unpacked and placed the furniture in the proper location.
So I called them yet another time when we needed to move furniture and several boxes from New York City to the DC area. Again, thorough and quick.

The manager here is super accommodating. The staff is pleasant, neat, and professional. The price was perfectly fair. I have heard many nightmare stories about moving companies. Avi is definitely an exception.
