Awesome Moving

I was scammed by this moving company. After arranging a specific time slot for the move, they arrived four hours earlier than expected, charged me for a few additional hours and held my items hostage in the truck. I signed the invoice prior to the move and they charged me an extra $500 on top of the amount that had been agreed upon. Absolutely ridiculous company. Avoid at all costs!

We hired Great Moving twice in a span of 2 months. Billy and his teammate did an excellent job. They were courteous and professional. They collaborated well with each other and handled things like their own.
Our second experience was as pleasurable as our first one. The only suggestion I have is for the crew to show up at least one hour before the closing window. Other than the time factor, everything else went smoothly. Thank you once again!

Firstly the owner of this company is a disaster.
They sent out an Email saying $225 is flat rate, without any clause saying it’s subject to the amount of goods etc. I did ask a couple of times if that’s the final quote and he said yes. So I refused other movers.
On the day of moving, his team comes and they give me a new estimate of 500$.
When I told them owner didn’t communicate that, they said they will cancel, knowing we are helpless and we don’t have another option.
He promised 3 people for 3 hours but 2 people show up. Plus 1 hour extra on top of that he charged 190$, if there were 3 people 3hours would be enough + they came 2 hours late for which I had to pay extra at my new apartment for elevator service.
When I tried calling him , he says he dosent even recognize me, while he talked to me 10 times before I say yes.
Please don’t fall for this scam of flat rate and then later changing the price when we are in helpless situation.
Other great moving companies give the same price quote, atleast they communicate that before, unlike this unprofessional owner.
Please please don’t use them for moving services.

For gods sake, please don’t have these guys.
I wish nothing but worst for the owner. The guys who helped out were good.

They cracked my TV screen and now I'm not getting a proper response from Mark. There were other small dent and scratches as well but I didn't make a big deal about that. They also showed up 3 hours later than scheduled. Pay alittle more and get the job done properly elsewhere.

They showed up on time, they were very professional, thoughtful and incredibly fast. My only concern is that all of the fees were not made clear before I was handed the bill. Make sure you know every single cost before you book them, but they really are a great team.
