I hired this company in April 2022 to store and than deliver my furnishings. This is November and I'm still waiting on some of my things. Issues: 1. First deliver was a couple days late PLUS it was not my furnishings (someone else's) 2. waited a couple weeks before my things were delivered and than not all my things were delivered 3. waited well over a month and several phone calls later for delivery of the rest of furnishings---AGAIN not all was delivered---Owner was waiting to go on a trip to Orlando to deliver on the way back!!! 4. Still waiting on a large expensive rug and several other pieces, they are not taking my calls at this time. Be LEARY of this company, Owner will say anything to get your business. 5. several pieces of furniture--plus some antiques were damaged in the move. I received anothers persons framed 1st communion and graduation pics of daughter (which i sent back on the 2nd delivery). Damage to newly painted walls and front door. Owner never paid for this damage though I was told he would. 6. Last i heard from the owner he said he has my things, knows where they are in the warehouse and will get them to me, that was Sept, 4 months after they were to deliver all my things and here it is November.. AGAIN, BE SUSPICIOUS OF THIS COMPANY AND WHAT THEY TELL YOU. .......................KS
Can't recommend these guys enough - We reached out Ayejakayla's Moving to handle a last minute furniture pickup for an escalated customer. We got a response within minutes & within a few hours the job was complete. Friendly punctual & professional, they were great to work with & we will definitely be hiring them again in the future!
Let me start by saying I always want to support a black business and I want to see them prosper. I just hope this particular business shuts down their services until they figure out a better way to operate, because I would not wish my experience on my worst enemy. Moving is already a stressful time, but to add broken furniture, lost and unaccounted furniture, as well as incorrectly put together furniture was all too much.
The only reason they have my 1-star rating is because the move-out process was excellent. When they moved our things, it was done with care. Nothing was broken and no walls were damaged. The company arrived with 6 workers total and so everything was accomplished in an appropriate amount of time. If the move-in was as excellent as the move-out, a 5-star review would have been given without hesitation.
BUT, that is not what happened.
Broken furniture. Damaged Furniture. Lost Furniture. On two occasions they tried to move in furniture that was not ours. Our 1 day move turned into moving in over 3 separate days in 2 different weeks and us having to drive out to their warehouse for our own peace of mind.
We thought once the owner got involved that it would get better but it did not. By the time it was all said and done, I was just over it and resigned myself to having to put thousands of dollars into buying new items, which is not what you want to do after moving (an already expensive venture). Not in this economy anyways.
As I said, I always want to support black businesses and I understand there are some things out of the owner’s control like mechanical failures and high employee turnover in that industry, but my God, why be in the service industry if you’re not going to provide a good service? If you are moving from point A to point B on the same day, then go with them. I think it will be fine. But if you must put your things in storage and then move later, DO NOT DO IT! NO. NO. NO. PAY MORE TO ANOTHER REPUTABLE COMPANY AND SAVE YOURSELF THE MONEY, TIME AND UNNECESSARY HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE!
