Bailey's Best Care

Let me share our story with Baileys Best care, we bought a Yorkie puppy from a breeder in Oklahoma and used Baileys for transport the trip was supposed to take three days. On the third day we started getting calls from the driver with an eta to our house. About 10:3O pm we got a call from the driver asking us if he was delivering to a IGA store in Georgia we live in Maryland. The driver then told he would call dispatch and give us a new eta the next morning we got a call telling us our 9 week old puppy would be in the transport truck for another three days. The breeder called the owner of Baileys asking him to please take the puppy to Atlanta airport and fly her to us that three more days in the truck was too much for the puppy. The owner said no. Our puppy delivered on the sixth day at 3:00 am, about 2:00 in the afternoon the puppy was not eating and when drinking was throwing it back up. I spent about 2 hours trying to find an emergency vet that could take us in. I rushed her to the vet where they quickly determined her sugar level was 29 it was supposed to be 85. The final on this is after 4300.00 and three days we had to put the puppy down. After much back and forth with Baileys owner Shaun saying it was not their fault he agreed to give us the transport fee back of 740.00 which I signed the paperwork and we have heard nothing from him since even after repeated emails. I just want you to consider this before you use Baileys because I can tell you there is nothing harder then holding your 9 week old puppy as they put her down. Also check out the Yelp reviews

Between my brothers and I, we have used Bailey’s Best Care five times. The previous four times they did a great job. They were on time and the kennels were always well organized in the vehicles. This time things were different; communication and timing were lacking. Details that were told to breeder and those told to me were different at times. I understand they are on a tight schedule and trying to service as many people as possible, which is hard. Yet when the pup arrived later than expected and when the driver opened the vehicle door, I saw the kennel my pup was in, tipped over on its side, I was not impressed. So I reached out to Bailey’s to talk to them about the experience and received nothing but false promises to call me. This bothers me because they act like they are hiding something and makes me feel like a liar after recommending them to my breeder, who was also super unimpressed. I believe Bailey’s Best Care has gotten too big for their britches.

They originally said it would be a 2 day trip for my puppy from Michigan to Montana. It ended up being 5 days for the poor guy and he went Michigan->Oklahoma->Arkansas>California->Montana and when he showed up he drank water like he hadn't seen it since Michigan. I'll never use Bailey's again.

DO NOT USE!! Puppy died in the care of these people!!

Bailey's transported a pup for me about a month back and did an outstanding job! They sent updates to my customer daily and took great care of the pup! Will be using again!
