This was a wonderful moving experience! These guys were so professional, handled all my belongings with care, moved at a swift pace, and were honest with their pricing. They called before they arrived and showed up on time. I highly recommend these guys if you’re moving!

There is no better moving team in Jacksonville! Miles and his team are always so polite, warm and efficient with the work they do. They have treated my furniture and valuables as if they were their own. I will only use Beach Body Moving.

We had previously used Beach Bod Moving for a small in-home furniture move and were satisfied, so we decided to entrust them with a larger move, including packing and moving our family of six.

Unfortunately, our experience this time was mixed, and we can no longer recommend them.

Positives:
1. Initial assessment and estimate process went smoothly
2. Moving day was generally efficient
3. Quick response to initial post-move issues (washing machine leak, treadmill problems)

Challenges:
1. Planning: The company significantly underestimated the move's duration, resulting in a rushed one-day move instead of two days. While we accommodated this and paid for the additional hours they worked to complete the move, it was stressful for our family with young children.
2. Packing Quality: While some items were packed with care, there were many items packed carelessly. Fragile items (including artwork, handmade photo frames, and our wedding album) were not properly protected, resulting in damage. Some furniture also suffered light surface damage.
3. Organization: Boxes were vaguely labeled and often placed in incorrect rooms, making unpacking unnecessarily difficult. Additionally, some household items were inexplicably left in our hot garage.
4. Communication: During the move, we asked about the time limit in the contract for reporting damages, given that unpacking from such a large move would take several weeks. One of the movers verbally assured us we had a reasonable amount of time beyond the contract period to inspect everything for any issues. However, when we actually reported damages, the company's response was disappointing. They denied the verbal assurances we had received, and became dismissive and defensive when we asked about compensation for damage. Their tone became unprofessional, and they even made comments about our home's state during the move and threatened to publicly share photos of our home if we posted photos of the damage.
5. Experience: While efficient at moving, Beach Bod seems inexperienced with packing, especially compared to other moving companies we've used, including for cross-country moves. We appreciate that estimates can be challenging and that moving is a complex process. However, we expected better planning, packing expertise, and professionalism in handling post-move concerns from a moving company.

This is a young company that performs well when everything goes smoothly. However, when unexpected issues arise, their inexperience shows in their lack of professionalism, tact, and problem-solving skills. We regret trusting them with such an important event for our family and can no longer recommend their services, until they improve on the challenges we experienced.
