Beach Movers, Inc

I recently used Beach Movers and wanted to provide a review prior to my call to the company. We reserved 3 movers and only two showed up. That is understandable but looking at my receipt I was charged for 3 movers for 5 hours. Our quote was 425.00 but I was charged 625.00. I plugged in My 65 inch tv and now it has a white line down the screen. I have contacted beach movers and awaiting a response.

I want to add the two men that did the move were fast and Professional.

SCAMMED!!!!! ( Bad experience)
They charged us $2,100 to move our things locally into a storage unit ( Chesapeake) . 3 bedroom condo. The house was 90% packed. First of all they where 6 hrs late because of an accident In Suffolk yeah right. It doesn’t take that long when the Hampton tunnel is backed up accidents and all. Secondly after getting here at 7 pm ,it took them (3 guys ) 3 1/2 hours to 4 load 3 beds , a treadmill , a couch, loveseat, chair , and a stand into our storage until. Oh and by the way they came in the largest U -Haul truck you can rent.So after them not completing the job . We where told they’re be back in the morning. Dissatisfied. I reached out to the manager Roger @ 7:35 am to explain the situation. Roger said he’ll get back with me in 20 minutes . NEVER got that return phone call. They got here at 9:35 am was NOT Productive at all.It took them another six hours to move our things into the unit ,with two guys because one guy left. So my significant other along with myself had to help them move our things... Also I Questioned one of the guys about how long have they been doing this because they were so slow with the move.He then replied I just did this for the weekend to make some good money I drive trucks for a living.... 10 hours: a local move with a Cross country cost . Unacceptable !!!!!!Also they didn’t wrap ANYTHING so therefore my furniture was scratched and my mattresses have scuff marks all over them.We’re in the process of trying to rectify the situation now .

Darrel, Jamal, and Eli were very professional, nice and hard workers. Roger was excellent as well, and very responsive. He added on my attic and garage before I moved and it was really peace of mind to have this done. They had to go up to the attic in my new house and down to the basement so it was a lot of work. They asked where everything went. Also they worked nonstop and didn't even take lunch although I made them some pizza. It was an 8 hour local move. I saw a review stating that they didn't wear a mask! They would have passed out if they had to move all that heavy furniture in masks! If you are that worried about it, you either need to wear yours and step back or move yourself! Thank you for getting me in Beach Movers!!

The movers were on time, professional, Covid safe and handled property with care.
