The MOST DISHONEST and CROOKED man I have ever dealt with. Richard Beattie LIED to me for over 15 months. Our move required our household belongings go into his storage for 7 months at $525 per month. We Paid a total of $14,033 for moving and storage. When the truck arrived and was unloaded we had some stuff damaged, no big deal. But what was a BIG DEAL was an expensive Big Screen TV was missing as well as our Bose sound system and speakers and DVD players and our DirecTV boxes. Well, I told Mr. Beattie from the very beginning that the Big Screen TV and electronics were not listed on the inventory forms and he said the insurance company would not want to pay if it wasn't on the forms and he would have to get out his check book and pay it himself. He made a big deal out of being a Christian and doing the right thing. I called him over 500 times in 15 months, got through to him when he felt like talking maybe 2-3 times per week. It was always something, stall, stall, stall. Finally, he stopped answering my calls. If I used someones cell phone(not mine) he would answer every time or call me back saying 'I missed your call.' It is all a big game to this guy. His god is the almighty dollar. He will lie, lie, lie and finally dodge your calls. He has done this to countless customers. Do Yourself a favor...GET ANYONE ELSE!!!! THIS MAN IS NO CHRISTIAN!!!!! HE IS A CROOK!!!!

Do not ever use this company! How I wished I would have read all of these reviews about the damages these movers made. POOR, POOR, POOR awful service! DAMAGES GALORE!! THEY WILL NOT RESPOND TO YOU ONCE THEY HAVE YOUR MONEY!! THEY GUYS PICTURED HERE WILL DAMAGE YOUR THINGS! THEY DON'T CARE!

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! My husband and I have moved over 20 times in our lives and we have never had an experience like this. The owner, Richard Beattie is dishonest, does not honor the estimates in writing nor his word. We had an original estimate for $1300. Then our circumstances changed and we needed to have them pack us and take our items to storage as well. I called him and he said it would be a little more than double. That is $2,600, so in my mind I prepared our family for $3,000, possibly as high as $3,200 since he said 'a little more than double'. The bill was over $5200!!!!! Then, on the move out from storage, we had a solid price of $1496.00 in writing from his employee which said it included the warehouse handling fee. Sure enough, the day our stuff came out of storage Mr. Beattie said that price did not include the warehouse handling fee. He tried to charge me almost $1800! He interrupted me on the phone, was extremely rude and unprofessional and told me my notes were wrong. I explained that they weren't mine, but his employees in his employee's handwriting. His employees all said this is how he does business and it really bothers them to see how he takes advantage of people. After much arguing and having to put the employee on the phone that wrote the estimate himself Mr. Beattie honored his original price, but was not happy about it and was extremely sharp with me. Then, before the movers even began unloading, Mr. Beattie demanded I go to the bank and get a cashier's check and wouldn't accept my credit card as I had used to pay for the first move. I told him there was no need for that, that he was the dishonest person, not me. He hurt my family again by forcing me to pay in cash and taking away my ability to manage my own finances the way I wanted too. Then there is the packing. Just about every 3rd box had something damaged and/or broken. Absolutely heartbreaking is all I can say. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB, and anywhere else I can. I have gouges and scratches in furniture that was brand new. We are getting past it as they are just material things; however, for a total of almost $7,000, we expected way better than this. We had a 2600 sf house if that gives you any idea of how much we were price gouged. But he took our items to storage when he hit us with the first large bill over $5,000 and it was held hostage. I paid every penny because I did not have a choice. I will not be stopping here. I will see to it (after what the employees have told me about him) to make it my mission to get the word out to people about this. I urge you no matter what he says or estimate he gives you, please DO NOT hire them. Let me also add that they moved one of my clients (I am a realtor) and they destroyed a lot of their furnishings, refused to honor their military discount at the end because 'they didn't ask for it up front' (how deplorable), and on the day of their move and closing, Mr. Beattie changed the moving time to take another job ahead of theirs and caused a disaster with their closing. Too many details to list but Mr. Beattie does whatever he wants too whenever he wants too to suit him and his need for the almighty dollar above honesty and integrity. Call Two Men and a Truck instead. Mark is the owner. We have used them for years (and should have never stopped). You will be glad you did.

Extremely unprofessional and non-responsive. If I could give this company zero stars I would do so. I met with the owner of the company to discuss a move. We agreed on a price and the dates of the move. I requested to have insurance coverage for the move to which he said would cost more money and I agreed to the increase in cost. They damaged numerous items during the move so I asked about filing a claim. His first response was to be angry at me and say I did not have insurance coverage. When I showed proof of the coverage, he then asked me to do research on each damaged item to get a replacement/repair cost. I did this within 1 week and sent the information to him. He then informed me that I had a deductible on the coverage which had never been discussed nor marked on the contract. I have tried almost weekly to get in touch with this company and they will not respond. I have written the BBB as they indicate on their marketing materials that they are BBB+ certified (what a joke) as the BBB says they cannot get a response from them either. How you can claim something that is not true and put it out to the public is beyond me. The move was 3 months ago and I still have not heard anything or received any $ to replaced the damage his company did to my belongings.

Do not use this company to move anything for you or you will be sorry! They are the most unprofessional and non-trust worthy group I have ever met in all my years of work.

It has been some time since using this sorry excuse for a company and the miserable human beings that own it. Wanted to repost to hopefully get this to the top of the list so more people will know they are horrible and to not use them under any circumstances!
