Behrens Moving Company, Inc.

To kick off this lengthy speech, I usually don’t write too many reviews unless there’s something special to write about. My wife and I recently moved from Milwaukee, WI to Riverside, CA back in May 2022. During that time, my wife and I were still living in Milwaukee and finalizing our wedding for the end of the month, so we had little time to decide on how to move our belongings. After exploring several moving options, we decided to hire Behrens and Allied based on customer satisfaction and national reputation. I can wholeheartedly say, we were not disappointed! From the initial consultation with George and Vickie at Behrens to the arrival of our household items in Riverside, everything went smoothly. Prior to the move, my wife and I had packed up most of our belongings, but we requested that our fragile items get professionally packed. A couple days before the move, Tim and Ty from Behrens came by our house and carefully packed everything in a timely fashion. Fast forward to the moving day, Allied driver Scott showed up with his Milwaukee crew, Brandon and Frank. In a matter of a few hours, the crew carefully packed everything up and took a comprehensive inventory of all the items. My wife and I were shipping some larger delicate items including instruments, so we wanted to make sure everything was packed properly. The crew exceeded expectations, wrapping all the furniture including smaller items in protective blankets and organizing them so they wouldn’t get damaged on the journey.

About a week later, Scott personally notified me to inform me when he would be arriving in Riverside. Since my wife and I were still in Wisconsin, we had arranged that our family friend would accept the shipment in Riverside. Before the shipment arrived, however, my wife and I had learned that our new apartment complex didn’t have any elevators and we had a third-floor unit. After realizing this, I notified Scott so that his California crew (I didn’t get their names unfortunately) would be prepared when they arrived at the complex. On top of that, the semi-truck couldn’t fit in the complex, so Scott had to park a block down the road and the crew had to haul everything from there in the sweltering SoCal heat. Nevertheless, the crew carefully unloaded everything in the correct spots and did an outstanding job. When my wife and I eventually showed up at our new home following our honeymoon, we were so excited to find all our belongings in the same condition as they were before shipping them out. We’re still talking about it to this day! Long story short, if you are looking for a reputable company to assist you in your move, whether it be long distance or local, I highly recommend going through Allied and Behrens. Both companies went above and beyond to make our move as stress-free as possible. My wife and I are so happy with our experience that we will definitely be using Allied and Behrens for any future moves.
