I’m new to the area (moved from Williamson County) since summer 2024, and rented closest to me at Extra Space….who planned to double my rent after the 4 months I pre-paid to secure a rate. I only needed half the space I was actually renting, and to get the latest special pricing, I’d have to vacate the current u to to move into a different unit the same size. Make it make sense! I told them if I have to change units, I’m vacating all together, so I looked around. One place was a DUMP (smelled like mold and rodent feces) so I expanded my search. Another place didn’t quite sit right with me. I physically drove around to multiple places and I found a hidden gem at Belton Mini Storage…EASY online reservation, self-check-in at my convenience, conveniently located, and it was priced just right and no hidden fees! It was clean, easily accessed, and perfect for my needs. There’s something to be said about local business, and the customer service was amazing (effective efficient text communications!!!). Thank y’all for being part of me settling into the area and giving me the warm small town feels I needed!
