The workers took way to many smoke breaks..and not to mention the strong weed smell coming off of them. Workers fighting around anyone and everyone. Very unprofessional!! Just with all that...I see why they don't take care of there workers!

Our experience with Berman was a mixed bag. They came highly recommended. Their movers were generally on top of it, though it seemed half of them were taking smoke breaks every 15 minutes. During the move, one of the movers accidentally slipped and dropped a newer bookshelf and assured us it would be taken care of.

When we got to the new house, they were unable to put our kitchen table back together properly. We also did not realize it, but they didn't return the screws/bolts to properly re-build our bed frame and a crib.

It took many emails and around 3 weeks to get the kitchen table re-built properly. It took 2 months and many more emails to resolve the broken book shelf and missing screw sets. The screw sets magically re-appeared (have not tested them yet). The book shelf 'credit' compromise was about have the cost (and it was under a year old).

Overall I did appreciate the communication; they did not ignore us. That said, it seemed they just dragged the resolution on and on hoping we'd just let it go. Moving is never easy, so with that in mind it's hard to be too critical. That said, our experience was not great and I'd think twice before using them again.
