Best Moving Van Line

WORST COMPANY EVER!!! Packers came 4 hours late. I previously contacted company and sent photos with dimensions of everything I was taking. They ended up charging me more because apparently they didn't allot for the amount of items I was taking. Things were packed that shouldn't have been packed. Upon delivery they wanted money up front, tried ti charge more because they claim that just because they are in a semi truck it won't fit through the gates. I explained to them that fire trucks get in here, bigger trucks were in here to build these homes, etc.. then charged an extra $60 but I have an elevator..WTF. Once getting my items, several items were damaged and dinne plates were broken. Not to mention,
I packed 2 rooms myself with no refund and did it faster than they did...WORST EVER!!!

Solutions Moving 3rd partied our move to this company.

So here is where the fun begins.

1. Charged us extra $150 for long flights of stairs (which I was ok with because the stairs at our condo were massive). But why not confirm all of this before hand. The hidden charges are not ok

2. But upon delivery in Portland they charged us 75 dollars for 75' or more delivery distance which is BS as they parked down the street intentionally.

3. Then they charged us for an elevator fee which was a joke because during the quotation period I was told the elevator was free.

So all in all we paid an extra 400+ dollars of hidden charges.

Be very careful who you book your move with. Be careful that the company doesn't route trucks from other companies to move your items.

But most of all. Don't use Best Moving Van Lines

THEY STEAL YOUR STUFF!!!!!They grabbed my backpack when loading stuff in truck. It wasn’t marked to take or anything on the paper or with stickers. Had my passports and federal I.d in my wallet. It went missing and they can’t “find them “. They are horrible. Stole my personal property. Every time I call they say I will call you back and don’t. SCAMMERS. They are foreigners. My lawyer will be in contact with them.UPDATE SO THE OWNER WANTS TO MESSSAGE US AND SAY WE MISPLACED IT. ITS FUNNY THAT ALL MY THINGS ARRIVE BUT MY BACKPACK THAT HAD ALL MY Important INFORMATION IN IT. I HAVE HAD A PASSPORT ALL MY LIFE AND NEVER LOST IT. BUT THE MINUTE WE HIRE THIS SCAM OF A MOVING COMPANY ITS GONE. WE HAD IT OFF TO THE SIDE SO WE CAN TAKE IN THE VEHICLE. WE NEVER NOTICED IT WAS GONE UNTIL I NEEDED IT FOR WORK. OF COURSE ITS NOT ON THE INVENTORY LIST BECAUSE YOUR MOVER THAT HAD A HELPER THAT YOU GUYS WHERE NOT AWARE OF PROBABLY GRABBED IT. I DONT CARE ABOUT A CLAIM I WANT MY STUFF BACK. I didn’t even have much stuff so for you guys to say I misplaced it is an insult.LOOK AT ALL YOUR REVIEWS STUFF IS STOLEN SND MISSING. ITS FUNNY YOU SAY I MISPLACED MY THINGS AND I HAVE OTHER PEOPLES STUFF IN MY BOXES THAT WHERE OPEN. I HAD A GPS TRACKER ON MY STUFF THAT SAT IN THE WAREHOUSE FOR 3 WEEKS AND HAD DEAD BUGS AND FLYS ALL OVER.

Late delivery broke 2 antiques and now giving me the run around when I try to file a claim stay away

Avoid this company! THEY STEAL YOUR VALUABLES! My $2000 Herman Miller chair went missing when they moved all my belongings. After 2 weeks of investigation they offered to pay me $18. What a joke.
