I recently used Black Label Moving Company, and I couldn't be more impressed with their service. From start to finish, their team was professional, efficient, and incredibly careful with my belongings. They handled everything with precision and care, ensuring a smooth and stress-free moving experience. The crew was punctual, friendly, and went above and beyond to accommodate my needs. I highly recommend Black Label Moving for anyone looking for a reliable and top-notch moving service. They truly set the standard for excellence in the moving industry!
What a great moving company! Helped my grandparents move a bunch of large stuff out of their home and everything was taken care of professionally. They worked hard with no breaks and finished the job smoothly! Great price and great customer service. Movers were very kind as well and did every favor my grandparents asked for. Will definitely use this company in the future!
We were referred to Black Label Moving by a close friend. They helped us complete a local move and did an exceptional job. The team was professional, quick, efficient, and kind. Thank you for making our transition into our new home an easy one!
Black Label Moving Company ( Shaun Bryant, owner) was referred to my husband and I by our realtor which gave us a level of confidence that all would go well. How WRONG we were.
Shaun came to the house sometime in December 2023 to peruse the furniture load he would be picking up, depositing in a storage facility in Fl and then delivering it eventually when we purchased a home in PA. He was on time , made it a point to tell us his rates are higher than most, that he is present for all out of state moves and that he carries a liability insurance policy in the amount of $ 1,000,000 ( verified). According to him, he completed over 200 moves and had only 1 move to CA where damage on his watch occurred.
On May 16, 2024 Shaun and his team loaded our furniture. He knew there were 2 identical size storage units at a local storage facility that were rented for him to deposit our goods. After he was finished he had sent a text saying “one storage unit was filled to the gills, “ the 2nd one was half filled.
We purchased a home in PA on August 20, 2023, the furniture was delivered on August 22 nd in the morning. Shaun reportedly was at a funeral unable to accompany the goods in transit out of state.
The damages are listed below in a letter written to Shaun. He acknowledged and apologized for the condition of the furniture, said it never happened before and he will make good on his promise to pay for all damage repairs. Written estimates and invoices were furnished to Shaun.
The fact is Shaun had always been difficult to reach, always had a ready excuse why he did not respond within days of a call or text. His last text said he would pay us $1000.00 now and the rest when the insurance comes through. We agreed but he has been MIA, we haven’t received a nickel.
The individual who will be refinishing our 100 yr old dining room table and making repairs to 3 of the 4 chairs confirmed that the damages were due to poor handling. The queen bed base arrived totally broken, a wooden planter was equally destroyed with pieces missing, the lift bed arrived with 3 legs, not 4, and the operating wires were wrapped so haphazardly and tight on the underside of the bed that the one side stopped working entirely. Many of the white cushions that I did not bag myself arrived dirty, some of which were sufficiently cleaned with a home remedy but still several have permanent obvious marks that cannot be removed. Recovering the cushions is the only answer. According to Shaun, this probably happened because he used a U-Haul moving truck, not a Black Label Moving truck and the blankets that covered the furniture were dirty. That might have been a plausible explanation except he used a U-Haul truck , not a Black Label truck, when he picked up the load.
NONE of the damages caused by Shaun and / or his employees had to happen. We had made several long distance moves with all the same furniture and there was no damage, NONE. But they were obviously reckless with our furniture.
My husband and I were hoping everything would have been resolved by now but we have lost hope in all the promises made by Shaun during conversations both written and verbal to make good on the damages. The charges were a little under $3,000.00 that we have incurred. There were other required repairs that we fixed and are not included in the total.
Needed very last minute small move and Shaun was available and reasonable prices. He was quick, friendly, and responsible.
