Black Tie Moving

Super friendly and professional movers! Todd L. and Fred were amazing, they had the best attitudes and were a lot of fun! They called and asked if they could show up and start early, which was wonderful for us! Highly recommend if you need movers!

I am BEYOND upset with Black Tie Moving. there were so many issues that I’m not sure where to start, so I’ll just list them out.

-husband caught a guy vaping INSIDE of our home
-dropped our XL Green Egg and broke it
-ruined 8 of our slipcovered dining chairs
-didn’t label ~15 boxes and they just decided to put them on the opposite end of the house
-looked like the literally tossed our upstairs items into boxes
-packed a coffee maker WITH COFFEE STILL IN IT (should’ve just asked us to empty it)

I pray to god that their claims department does what’s right and fixes this or we will be out 6k.

This was the worst moving experience of my life. I’ve used sketchy Groupon movers that provided better service. They no-call, no-showed for 8 hours, causing the move to be split into two days. It took over two hours (past the estimated arrival time) on my move day just to get a hold of someone to figure out what was going on. None of the contacts I was given would answer the phone. The loading crew lazily loaded my furniture and caused damage to several items.
Overall, the communication was the worst part as I was just sitting around waiting, not being able to get ahold of anyone. I will be sure to never suggest this company to anyone.
