Black Tie Moving

I would highly recommend Black Tie Moving! EJ and Cam did a wonderful job with the move and everyone communicated clearly throughout the process. All of my questions were answered quickly and completely, they showed up on time and were careful with all of my items. I am very happy with my move!

They were very responsive, on time, and the crew was good. When loading, they started out strong, yet slowed down, watched a video (shared a video) with each other while loading the truck. I feel this was to stretch the time. Yet, in other areas where they could stretch the time (i.e., travel between sites), they didn't.

The crew assisted in moving items to the garage for donation as well.

The crew were kind, gentle with our items, and did well packing the items in the truck.

We liked Black Tie as they allowed for multiple stops to drop off items, which was quite helpful.

Overall, we would use them again.

Horrible, horrible experience. I’ve waited 7 months to write this review because it’s incredibly intimidating to write a review of people who know your address. We added a 3rd mover on, at the recommendation of the company to make things move “faster” yet somehow it took 3 movers 11 HOURS to move a 2 person apartment. At no point were all 3 movers working. Someone was smoking a joint in the truck at all points in time. We wasted so much money on this horrible, lazy company. I cannot recommend other companies enough, absolutely do not use this business.

Edit: the customer service response to this is incorrect. This was a horrible, incredibly expensive experience for us. Again, still do not recommend.
