Black Tie Moving

Definitely not the worst movers I've ever hired, but I can't say I was impressed. I booked my move less than a week in advance - so maybe I just didn't get a great team?

I was told they would call to confirm the day before and then I never heard from anyone. I even called that evening and was told they would call me back and still didn't get a call. I honestly wasn't confident they were going to show up.

I was told my move should take 6 hours and it took 10 hours. Which another company that came out to do a walk through and inventory said 7.5 max, so I expected it could be a bit longer but never expected anywhere near that long. And 25 minutes of that was a lunch break that they took and I was charged for anyway.

I was apparently supposed to sign off on a document when they got started that morning, but someone signed my name to it themselves... I discovered that when I received the invoice that night. VERY concerned about that.

We had to make two stops (a storage unit and then my new home) and I had organized everything by what went where, but they mixed up all the boxes and a lot of what was supposed to go to storage ended up at my apartment, so I have had to make trips to take everything to storage myself.

Everything arrived in one piece and ultimately that's what's important, but I don't know that I can recommend them.

Gallo and Anthony worked so hard and were e super friendly too! The move was so smooth because of Gallo and Anthony! Thank you for making our stressful move day fun!!

Chris H and Eric Harris are the best movers if you ever need help moving
