Blue Oak Moving & Storage

I highly recommend DJ, Ozie, and Ethan for all of your moving needs! They were super friendly and on top of things from the start. They all did an amazing job getting everything moved as quickly and efficiently as possible. I am super picky and had some special requests but they accommodated me perfectly. Could not of asked for a better experience! If you want a seamless, easy and stress free move ask for these awesome guys they will take care of you!

DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY!! My wife and I used them and are extremely displeased with their service. The movers didn’t latch the back of the truck when they were traveling to our new house and somewhere along the way the door came open. They called to let us know it was going to take them extra time because they were going to retrace their steps and recover our furniture that fell out. Once they got to our house they informed us that someone would be in contact with us before they left to rectify the situation. As they unloaded they showed us the items that were damaged. Our lazy boy recliner $699), the ottoman and chaise lounger ($550) and a shelf ($60). Fifteen minutes before they were done unloading the truck they said their boss TEXTED to ask how we would be paying. We informed the movers that we needed to speak to their boss before we made a payment because the damage to our furniture had not been addressed. Once on the phone with the “boss” he let us know that we signed a contract and if we didn’t pay they would close up the truck and leave with our stuff that hadn’t been unloaded. We ended up paying the $550 that we signed the contract for and the $100 security deposit. He told us that their was nothing he could do about the damage today, that it would need to be handled on Monday. We anticipated hearing from some one first thing on Monday, but no one has reached out to us. My wife and I both tried to call the phone numbers we have but we have been blocked. Save yourself the headache and money and use a different mover!! USE A DIFFERENT COMPANY, THIS COMANY IS A SCAM!!

The Michigan franchise turned out to be a lifesaver for us. We ended up getting scammed by a moving company and when they didn't show, we still had to move out. Blue Oak came to our rescue, with the most professional movers, the next day, on the 4th of July weekend, in the middle of the 2020 pandemic, without gouging us. Just the biggest relief. So yeah, I know this review is dated, but if it's anything like it was then, Blue Oak deserves to be on your very short list of potential movers.

They moved a Friend of mine, very unprofessional. No dolley they were in her room. Not realizing her purse was in there, well her pain meds were missing as well as money. She told them she only wanted 2 guys 4 showed up. They had a decent sized truck, but couldn't take all of her stuff he was not informed that anything in boxes could not go or boxes were not sealed they wouldn't take them until they got there. After they were told what not to take that was the first thing they grabbed things are missing items are damaged I do not recommend. When I called to inform them, no one returned my call

We had to move from apartment then to get stuff from storage, then to our house. Robert,Sean,and James moved us with out a problem. Great Job Guys !!
