I reached out to Tyler for a moving quote on a weekend and he got back to me right away. Blue Ridge was the only company that did not offer an additional charge for the riding lawnmower and that was great. The price breakdown was clear and there were no surcharges or extra fees.

When we had a sudden opportunity to move earlier than we expected, Blue Ridge adjusted their schedule to accommodate to make sure we could move on that day even though they did not have to do that. Tyler texted me after hours and made sure we knew they would be there to help us. This was a huge relief for us, since moving is naturally so stressful and the most difficult part of moving—moving lol, was taken care of and I didn’t have to worry about that. This allowed me to focus on setting other services up like utilities.

All of the young men were very polite and professional. They did everything we asked and timed everything perfectly for our move. They packed the truck very well and we were honestly very impressed everything fit. We had several things going on at once in the house but they moved items efficiently with little guidance. One thing to keep in mind is that things do happen during a move and this is true whether you use movers or friends and family. We had a few paint scuffs (easily fixed), a broken picture frame, etc. but they were minimal and minor. If you have something you want movers to take extra care with just let them know. All of our nicer electronics and furniture were well covered in blankets and arrived the in the same condition they left in. They also did a great job moving more unusual items like our giant cat tower and very large cat wheel. Blue Ridge was a large part of what made our day go smoothly and we are so thankful for that.
