Having moved many times while living on the east and west coasts, I agree with the documented research studies, national news media, and revered national publications that have reported moving as being one of the top five stressors in life. Some research studies document that moving is one of the top three stressors in life, preceded only by divorce and the death of a loved one.

I recently moved from a 3rd floor apartment in the Lynchburg, VA area and was in search of a moving company that I could trust with items that hold personal value to me. I also had some very heavy items, and I knew that getting them down 3 flights of stairs safely would require movers who are strong, conscientious, and committed to the highest standards.

In my search, I discovered Blue Ridge Moving LLC and was happy that a supervisor came to my apartment in advance of my move to look at my belongings and to make a plan about how to protect the fragile items and safely and efficiently move all that I had to move. On moving day, four movers on the team including the supervisor arrived ready to go. I found them to be kind, respectful, very careful with the wrapping of my furniture and fragile items, quite efficient, and STRONG. I felt that they were giving their best and were committed to making sure that I had the least stressful move possible.

When choosing a moving company, it was important to me to also know that the owner would have my back if any unexpected events happened that neither of us could have foreseen. An unforeseen event did happen, and I was extremely grateful to be able to speak with Tyler, the owner, directly and work out a solution that was agreeable to both of us. I learned that day that the owner of Blue Ridge Moving LLC had my back, had respect for me, and showed with his actions and his words that Blue Ridge Moving LLC is a company that can be trusted. I highly recommend Blue Ridge Moving LLC and was not surprised to see that they recently received a top award in the Best Moving Company category in Lynchburg Living magazine. The owner and moving team are authentic, caring, responsible, efficient, and they truly have your back making your move the best possible. And, when a company has your back, it is truly priceless.

If you want things done right then you need to hire BRM!! Professional, punctual and just downright GOOD people. Tyler and his team know what they’re doing and they are exceptionally skilled!
