BEWARE: It’s not customer first for these companies its revenue first!
My concern after this experience was that Berkin puts revenue over customer satisfaction. In my view, Berkins uses their contact to hide behind their failures.
I have moved several times in my career using Bekins or their subsidiary. This last move was the worst experience I have ever had they damaged more than $8000 dollars and what I got in return was 60 cents per pound equaling $900 dollars. Their reasoning was I should have bought the insurance to cover the value! Why would I need insurance if I am paying professionals $18,000 to move my home?
Every company I have done business with contractors, maintenance, dealership, repairs, etc. all guarantee their work. NOT Bekins.
I hold no grieves with my sale representative he did everything correctly but Berkins and the fly-by-night operation that moved us never again. In the world of business, a little faith and gratitude make a company strong and sustainable.
What I expect from this review is an auto statement I am sure says: sorry for your loss that is not how we do business” BS revenue before customer satisfaction!
