Alex, Jay and the team at Born to Move get a much deserved "5 Star" rating from me and my wife. Best price, fantastic communication, on time and all business the day of the move. We moved from NYC to Boston without one issue.....all in a day! Highly recommend.

5 Stars - We would give Born to Move 10 Stars if we could! In January 2020 my partner and I started doing research into moving companies for our March 2020 Boston to New York City move. For context, this was the fifth big move for one of us and the seventh for the other, so we understood the preparation that a move like this would take. After calling twenty moving companies, we decided to book with Born to Move due to their competitive/reasonable/flat-rate pricing, kind attitude, and excellent online reviews. Up to our March moving day, we called Born to Move several times each week to update our inventory and to ask questions - all of our calls and inquiries were met with detailed responses and friendly and patient conversation. On moving day, the truck was supposed to arrive in the afternoon with 2 movers, but instead arrived in the evening with 4 movers - the movers promptly and professionally carried out our many boxes and furniture and packed the truck in an hour - what a time record! During the moving out process, the movers were considerate, quiet, and professional. They were also very respectful of the fragile boxes, and made sure that those boxes went on top and in the truck last. On drop-off day, Born to Move worked with us to make sure we arrived in our car to get into the building before the truck got there. The movers were once again very respectful of where we wanted the boxes and furniture to go, and were genuinely lovely people to be around. We moved from Cambridge to NYC and decided to use Born to Move, and would highly recommend them to anyone! They were professional, friendly, and on-time on both ends, and dealt incredibly well with a walk up on one side and a small, slow elevator on the other. Nothing at all was broken and they worked within our coop requirements in NYC perfectly. I’m so grateful to the entire team in helping us get our new home set up!

We had some tough circumstances that made the unloading of the moving truck a lot harder than it needed to be but these 2 guys bit the belt and got the job done perfectly. Didn't struggle with even my heaviest furniture and did not stop until the job was done. Highly recommended not only for the price but for the quality of service!

This is the third (3) time we are using this company. Everything is done professionally. Came on time. Called ahead of time. Have a few reminders for the upcoming event. They kindly accommodated my schedule and rescheduled the move twice ( because of my circumstances). They have fair prices. They packed everything very carefully & disassembled furniture when needed. At the end, not a single screw was missing after. (And they have all the equipment to wrap up, pack , screw and unscrew everything). Guys worked hard all the time every time. Did not take a single brake. They also accommodated my needs for the order of loading and order and place of unloading ( which was especially important for the convenience of getting some things). Going to hire them one more time soon. Very impressed with this company!
