Born to Move LLC

I recently (August 2019) worked with Born to Move for a long distance move from Boston to Washington D.C. and I was extremely happy with all aspects of the move. I was promptly contacted and received a flat-rate quote for the move that was far less than what others movers were bidding. Additionally, Born to Move had me items in D.C. the next day, while some services were saying their delivery window could be as long as 2 weeks. The actual move went smoothly as well. Every item made it to D.C. undamaged, and the team was professional and courteous. It was my first time using movers and I am extremely thankful for how easy and stress-free Born to Move made the process.

This is my 3rd time using Born To Move, and I continue to be impressed by their work ethic and professionalism. Despite moving from one 3rd floor apartment to another, the crew was helpful and pleasant. The crew lead was great at communicating progress along the way. When there was an issue getting my couch into my new place, they came up with a solution that eventually worked (which was a huge relief!). On top of everything else, the cost was very reasonable, and provided a great value. Kudos to Alex and his team!

Born to Move was thorough and professional. Everyone from the office team members to the movers was friendly and accommodating, from the minute I submitted for an estimate all the way through moving day. Their office team followed up politely via both email and phone on my initial quote, called me to ask if I had any questions about my move after confirming the moving date AND the day before my move. The 2-man moving team called me before arrival and even arrived a few minutes early. They worked quickly and chatted pleasantly with us as we packed up our own car with items we wanted to move ourselves. All furniture was wrapped and padded as needed. On the other end, they carried our furniture up to the second floor, placed and unwrapped it with zero damage. All this for HALF of the estimated price, in the end. I had padded our budget for more than the estimate just to be safe, and was shocked. How often are you shocked in a GOOD way by the final sticker price?! I highly recommend Born to move based on our weekend move in March 2019. Born to move sucked a lot of the stress out of moving and delivered excellent value for the expense.
