Didn’t move with them but got to witness the stellar behavior of the team. I’m in a secure storage facility, meaning for my own safety I drive into a garage that locks behind me and is temperature controlled (especially nice when the heat is going strong outside). I arrived at the garage door and the company had backed two trucks in the spots on either side but instead of pulling up so folks who rent the units there could use this amenity, had pulled their ramps to block the entryway back to back and didn’t seem to get until asked that other people needed access to the garage door as well. They had taped the automatic door sensor so the doors stayed open and when I asked about and explained that I would like it to be closed bc not only is it hot out, but as a woman I specifically use this feature for my own safety as I’ve been approached/felt unsafe without it. The head man explained he was here the whole time so it was safe (totally believable from a strange man who’s already demonstrating a lack of awareness of others). Although he did remove the tape, the doors were then jammed which he did nothing to rectify, even when the facility supervisor came to check in about something different. The children helping him could barely navigate a dolly and almost hit my van several times. As I was backing out, they moved their carts directly into where I was trying to turn into (it’s a very tight one-way with a drop off behind) and they all stood there and moved the cart maybe two inches while staring at me trying to not hit them or roll down the gully. If you want a company that doesn’t show respect for women or the spaces they occupy, they are your guys.

The guys at BHP helped my mother move to California recently, and she had a wonderful experience. Doug packed all of her fragile items, and coordinated the move with Dave. Both men were extremely helpful, kind, and my mother was extremely happy. When her belongings arrived, everything looked great. Boxes were labeled, furniture was clean and undamaged. I would recommend BHP to anyone looking for a GREAT moving experience. These guys really know their stuff!
