Boyce's Moving Services LLC

I had several quotes from local moving companies, and Boyce came in a little cheaper then most, plus their overnight storage option was exactly what we needed, so we decided to go with them.

Never received a quote or contract, and all communication was done over the phone and text message. Seemed unusual, but we pushed through.

They show up around 0900 on moving day, (no real time table had been established), and the crew got to work. To our surprise, they showed up with six people and a large truck! I thought they'd be done in no time since we only had large items to pack. In fact we heard one say that they could be done in a few hours...and that's when the problems started.

We did hear the guy we thought was in charge say, 'this is supposed to be a full day's job.' After that, the crew slowed way down. So much in fact that my wife and I started to help move things just to keep them moving. I my opinion they loaded the truck horribly. So bad in fact that they had to call for another truck, which costed us more time. (The other truck was only used for our mattresses, something that should had been loaded first on the other truck after the appliances.)

The next day the crew move much faster, but that's probably because we started late. (Not their fault, this was due to the closing times.) As they rushed to get unloaded, they damaged our very new dryer, refrigerator, scratch our new wood floor, damaged my grill, and broke a nightstand (which they hid in a back room!)

When I called the owner, he seemed flustered when I asked him to fix these issues. When I ask for his insurance information, he didn't have any, but offered me a refund...it's been three weeks and I still haven't seen it.

I'm giving them a two star because they did have one very respectful young man on the crew who took time to make sure our fridge got in safely, or as best as they could. Other than that, they were slow, didn't take care of out stuff, had no insurance when I asked for it, and has not refunded us any money for the damages (after an amount was agreed upon.)

Moving is stressful enough, and they did not help. They seemed like a good group, but that quickly faded. Find another company to help with your moving needs!

I called around and 2 dude's ana truck were astronomically expensive. I was referred to Bob and he not only quoted substantially cheaper... Boyce movers got me loaded up and TO my out of state move timely, in perfect condition and very friendly... Communication was excellent both calls as well as texts! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Bob and his team at Boyce's Moving Services did a fantastic job helping our family move. They were there on time, helpful, trustworthing, careful and priced fair. I will definatley recommend them to friends, family and clients.
