I ordered a storage shed from Wayfair and this company was the delivery party. Company states they “delivered my order” but I have received nothing. I have video surveillance of my home which can prove this. I have tried calling them several times and they will do nothing to help me out. The delivery invoice sent to me has the customer signature part conveniently cut off because I NEVER signed anything!! Strongly discourage use of this company and their lack of customer care and service!!!!
Completely unprofessional. For Wayfair furniture delivery, they were supposed to call me and coordinate delivery and bring in the 185lb dresser inside (also promised white glove delivery) but they never called. Instead, they left the heavy furniture outside. I had to beg neighbors to help me move it and it wasn't the best experience to try to manage to unpack and pull it to the right place (as a middle-aged woman, it was difficult for me). Wayfair is also shipping another 7-set dining table with expected delivery and assembly in one week. I am now curious whether they drop off the heavy package outside again. They never responded to calls or texts either. I may file a State business complaint (NYC311 or take another legal path) if they again leave the upcoming heavy package outside the house.
The first sign that hiring them was a mistake was two of their employees getting into a physical fight in our driveway while packing the truck. Then the Mayflower agent at the receiving end would not answer the phone or schedule delivery -- they were ten days outside the end of the delivery window and had to pay the contractual rate for those days.
We had to move into a small apartment then to a house we subsequently purchased, so things were in storage for six months. When we finally unpacked the storage, we found that Brown's or their associates broke an antique rosewood chair, chipped a large corner off of a console, and stole multiple items including electronics, power tools, and a Crate and Barrel dining chair. None of these items are repairable and we can't make a claim for replacement items since the replacement period is over. Brown's knew most of these items were going to storage initially and they certainly took advantage of it. These people are incompetent, criminals, or both. Do not use them for an interstate move under any circumstances.
EDITED TO ADD — see the reply below? Their records are so poor that they can’t find the move BOOKED UNDER MY NAME? Why do they think that calling the Mayflower 800 number is going to do me any good. They’ve already said that they fulfilled the terms of the contract and have no liability. These people are truly unbelievable.
