My belongings were packed on one day and delivered the following day. After starting to unpack, there were many items missing. My advice: Open every single box and count before signing their waiver. No compensation will be given. If they can not pack and move in one day, I would not recommend.

Just so bad. They were constantly late or early (well outside of scheduled windows). They accommodated almost nothing. We had an extra stop literally 2 blocks from the original pickup, they wanted an extra $2k just to go the extra 2 blocks.

They broke our sons playset and couldn't even cover the 300$ for repair / to get a new one.

You communication was difficult and slow.

Do NOT A GO with this company. It's a huge pain and you'll regret it.

We recently used Budd Van Lines to move our things from New Jersey to Sarasota, Florida. In addition to typical “jitters” about the move process, we were extremely concerned about our considerable inventory of high-value, sensitive electronics that needed to be moved. We have read many horror stories about long distance movers and was nervous about the security of our belongings and overall success of the move.

From the beginning, Alan Bronstein made us comfortable and came up with the right approach to handle both the sensitive and valuable equipment as well as our household and sentimental belongings. His proposal stood out amongst the other companies that we considered and we elected to go with Budd.

The entire move went flawlessly! We give most of the credit to our driver Kevin. Kevin is exceptional! From the protection of our NJ home floors to the unloading of the last item off the truck in Florida, Kevin gave extraordinary personal care to our belongings and our satisfaction with the work he and his team were doing. He and the two teams were extremely respectful of us, each other, our property and both homes. Kevin continuously checked in with us to ensure that we were satisfied and ask if we had any concerns (we had none).

Kevin arrived right on time the following Monday with the trailer safe and secure, then personally supervised and worked with the unloading crew to ensure a very smooth unloading and satisfactory handling of our things.

Crucial to this success were the 2 crews. The packing/ loading crew in New Jersey were all highly respectful of our home and property, and extremely skilled at their jobs. Special mention goes to Blanca who did most of the kitchen packing- we had ZERO damage! The crew in Florida were equally skilled and efficient and protective of our property. They had a considerable amount of very heavy items that needed to be hand carried up stairs to the second floor and they did this all with a smile. Both crews were extremely pleasant and worked tirelessly on our behalf.

The Budd team really came through for us. We have already highly recommended them to others and will continue to for anyone looking to move.

We need to give one more shout-out to Kevin; he was professional, respectful and fun. He could not have been better to his teams and to us. What could have been a challenging, stressful and painful four days of strangers lugging our stuff in and out, instead was a friendly group all working really hard together and with us to get us moved.

Perfect from start to finish! I am extremely particular and I quote literally had ZERO complaints. Budd Van Lines handled my large move about two weeks ago. They also moved my parents about 5 years ago. They are a phenomenal company who retains and values their employees. Alan came out to meet me and inspect my house 8 weeks before my move and provided me with a detailed estimate. Denise was in touch every step of the way, checking in before, every day during the 3 day move, and after. Derick was THE BEST driver. I could not have asked for a better crew. Derick and his team went above and beyond, he had nonstop endurance, managed his team extremely well, took charge, has a photographic memory, was personable and kind to me and my family, protected my furniture, belongings, old and new house, and was meticulous in every way. Before he left he ensured that I was completely stayed with everything, down to the positioning of the rugs. If you select this company you will not be disappointed!
