Could not have asked for better movers! They were quick, friendly and efficient. The whole gang was so nice, 10/10 would recommend to a friend and will definitely be using for my next move.
I utilized this service previously without issue, so it was ideal for me to use them again. My items were moved from my apartment and into storage. The movers were on time. However, a few things are of concern. My marble coffee table is completely broken. When I brought it to one of the mover's attention, he told me it was taken off and I could put it back on. Upon further inspection when I went to place a sofa cover on my sofa in the unit, I realized that it was not the case. It's broken beyond repair. I also noticed a tear and scratch on my sofa.
I attempted to call this morning to rectify the problem, but the person I spoke with was very rude and basically saying that it was 'on me'/my fault. I made it clear that I just wanted the situation handled because ideally I would utilize them again in a few months, but after the way the 'owner' (Lee) disrespected me it will not be happening. I even informed him that I had pictures. He didn't care. Very rude and unprofessional.

This was THE worst experience I have EVERRRRR (emphasis on EVER) had with a moving company. They were extremely unreliable in changing my schedules move date twice. Once I understood due to dicey weather but the second time they rescheduled on Sunday and they were well over an hour late with no call, 3 movers instead of the 4 I paid for, then finally pulled up, never got out of their truck, called me down and spoke to me through the drivers door and called me out to say “it’s too much snow/ice outside of your apartment building we won’t move you”. Mind you the entire elevator access path to the parking lot directly in front of it was completely clear and salted with a LITTLE snow on the entry end of the parking spot that I offered to shovel myself and salt since the apartment was closed that day. Additionally, just at the back side exit of my building everything was completely clear. The kicker though was the sheer rudeness of the staff, but even then If they weren’t going to move me that day ultimately there was nothing I could do, so I just wanted my money back for the second inconvenience. They obviously didn’t want to be at work on a Sunday. Their drivers were EXTREMELY rude and unprofessional. As i spoke to one gentleman in the drivers side window the gentleman on the passengers side starts loudly and aggressively telling the third driver “I ain’t about to move nothing, you must be out of your mind. Something gets broken shes gonna want to say something.” And some other extremely out of place comments as he proceeds to step outside of the truck and continue his loud rhetoric even though he knew clearly i was standing RIGHT THERE and could here him. The driver not once asked him to be professional. Not even when I heard him and said “excuse me that’s not necessary”. I told the driver at this point I’d just prefer my deposit back and he tells me “Theyre not giving you your money back” before the manager (who he’s on the phone with) overhears and tells him to tell me they will. Stick with me. Story gets better. Less than 30 minutes after they leave I get a call from the 3rd employee that was in the vehicle and he says “the snow really wasn’t that bad. It really wasn’t. We can move you no problem. Apparently the manager lets them use the company trucks to do “side moving” and they can come back with 4 around 1pm to move me for the same price He continues to call and push it until eventually it’s 6pm (I was scheduled each time for a 6hour minimum job). I didn’t want strange men between my homes as a single person at that time of night. I was going to at that point book with another moving company and attempted to cancel with him, and he assured me he could be at my house by 6am ahead of the weather to get me moved and my things transported to my new home. He’d been so nice to call and affirm the area was clear enough to move and assure me they promised they’d take care of me since I’d expressed to movers I NEEDED to be out of my apt by Monday. Foolishly I continued on in good faith with trying to do business/support with Budget Movers (and their subsequent staff) bc the reviews were mostly positive. My mistake. He says “I’ll text you at 530 to confirm we’re on the way” I got up at 430am to drive an hour back to my old place. Left my house at 5am. 530am no call or text so I text them and he responds “I’m trying to reach the driver so that we can pick up the truck. Can’t reach him” When I proceeded to ask about if there was any new eta he could provide, as he assured me they’d arrive at 6am and I’ve now been trying to get moved since Friday, he stops responding.I arrive right at 6am And attempted to call him for an update thinking “maybe they’re in transit and missed the text”. NO ANSWER. I advised at that time I’d be booking with another company. I’ve never had such a poor, unprofessional, and unreliable service from a company EVER, let alone a moving company. I was left incredibly disappointed and it’s Monday now, I’m supposed to be out of my apartment and my items STILL haven’t been moved.
We needed to have a couch and a love seat moved from my parents house into our apartment. The guys arrived on time and did a great job getting our furniture moved. Very professional and friendly. Will definitely be using them again for our next move.
