Budget Moving has moved me several times, always excellent service.
So my boyfriend and I booked with this company and scheduled the move for Friday 5/14/21. I was very excited and ready to get things done. While scheduling, Steve asked us to text him our date, time and size to confirm booking and made it seem as if that was all we needed to do. We scheduled for 4:30 pm. Fast forward to Friday, about an hour before the scheduled moving date, I called Steve to give him my personal cell number to contact as my boyfriend was at work. Upon calling, Steve answers and tells me that he does not have us booked and asked me to send my boyfriends number and email to him so that he can “double check”. We end the call and I don’t receive a call back, so I call him again. He then says that we never confirmed our booking. It was definitely terrible communication on his part, but he agreed to move us the next day at 9-10 am so I decided to give him another chance. 9:30 am comes and I text Steve to ask if he is on his way. He doesn’t respond. 9:45
am comes with no respond so my boyfriend calls him. He answers and says “I can’t come until Tuesday, didn’t I call you guys last night”? We never received a call from him. He then proceeds to tell us that we can call him back to schedule or go with two men and a truck. I am beyond glad that our lease for this apartment that we are leaving doesn’t end today or we’d be completely messed up. I’d rather pay more for good customer service and quality. Don’t waste your time and money, especially if you are on a tight schedule.
Update: I texted him providing feedback on his customer service and he responded by threatening to take me to court ! I read older reviews and I guess that’s just what he does to customers/potential customers after he messes them over.
Horrible customer service.
I scheduled a move on 3/29 for 5/1. Called back 4/20 to change the date, which I was told I could do if I sent a text with updated information. Not one time was a confirmation text sent to me. So I called again on 4/27 to confirm. Still had an agreement but told to send a text. Then on 4/28 I called more than 5 times, once I got answer, I was told they did not have availability on 4/29, so I reminded him that I already was told I would be rescheduled, again I was told to leave a text message. I called again that night to confirm, and no answer. So I thankfully found another company called ANYTIME MOVERS LLC and they were able to take my last minute move the next morning without hesitation and amazing customer service. On 4/30, right when I turned in The keys after 5pm, Steve finally called me back, but he was confirming to move me on 5/1 instead of the verbally agreed change for 4/29. This was the worst situation! It caused me a lot of stress and I would never recommend this company.
When you call, the voicemail tells you to send a TEXT but they never respond to them. So good luck for you to get a successful move from this company.
On time, very professional and handled our items with care. Would use again.
I moved locally and I had a very positive experience with the movers, led by Jamile. The three men crew was professional and organized. They moved me when it was 109 degrees outside and still managed to get the move done quickly. I would highly recommend and use them in the future.
