Busy Beavers Moving & Storage

Busy Beaver left my 75 year old mother in the house trying to move out items that they were asked to move out. She had to be out the same day as the move and they did not move her plants or remaining items because they wanted to go do whatever they were doing after 2 pm. I am filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau because they refused to refund part of the fee and they put stuff on the truck that they were not asked to put on the truck.

Busy Beavers were there for us when the other company that we had scheduled never showed up and on the Friday after Thanksgiving no less I called after no response from the other company and they said let them call some of their guys and see if they can come in. They called back and said they could be out there at about noon. They ended up arriving earlier at 11 am which was even better. We did a walk through of what needed to be moved and they kept saying 'wow this is a lot, we are going to need another truck and another guy'. They made some calls and got another truck out there a couple hours after they were there. They were efficient and careful with our things besides just piling many of the boxes into our basement even though it was all labeled where they go. But I would say for the most part it was a good experience. My only complaint would be that the price is steep compared to other places I called being $269 an hour, but I really didn't have a choice after the other company not showing. I am not sure if that is the normal rate or more cause of last minute but it is what it is. The only other complaint is that there was a box of books placed on top of my wife's Christmas dishes.

So all in all I gave them 3 stars because of the price and the complaints of how much stuff we had. In all honesty I don't care what they think about how much it is just get it done. They all received a $50 tip also.
