Review:

I hired C&C shipping to move my furniture and appliances on August 12, 2019. When the estimator came he indicated that they would be able to take the appliances. When the movers came on Monday to take my furniture and appliances, the first thing that the fellow that was in charge asked me about the tip that him and his men with going to get. I should’ve known it was going to be a bad day. The last thing they tried to take out was my refrigerator. None of the men knew how to take the doors off the refrigerator so they could get it down the stairs. They said they didn’t know how to do that. They left me stuck in my new place with no refrigerator. I called BRANDS MART and asked him for some suggestions. They told me to call a moving company. How embarrassing is that?
The fellow in charge there who’s name is Cory gave me a $100 discount for not taking the refrigerator. It ended up costing me $450 to get another moving company to move the refrigerator. I was left in a panic and the fellow in charge would not give me a further discount to offset what I was going to have to pay another moving company. Unfortunately I thought that I had hired a moving company. The truth is C&C shipping is the worst company I have ever used. How bad were they? I would not use them again if they would move me for free! They are the worst of the worst and are a bunch of amateurs. Out of the many shipping companies that I called they all indicated that they could take the doors off an LG refrigerator. Like I said C&C shipping are amateurs. You have been warned there are many other companies that will do a much better job out there in Palm Beach County or Broward county.

Review:

These guys were alright. They arrived over a hour late past our appointment time. They sent three older gentleman (which was fine) but two of the three just complained about everything. They kept complaining to me about how tired they were and how the office didn’t communicate with them about what we needed. I felt like they started to slow down and took their sweet time. I mean they got the job done, but we won’t use them again or refer this company to anyone. It’s not my problem that you’re tired or overworked. Then they kept asking for drinks and I’m ok with giving drinks but they killed an entire 24 pack of water. You would think they would have brought their own stuff. The one guy was amazing didn’t complain kept thanking us for giving him work. Overall alright only reason for 2 stars was because of that guy!

Review:

I have to leave a review for how terrible this company has treated me. First, it took 3 guys to pack my entire apartment in 8 hours. I live in a 700 square foot apartment. As I started to unpack, they packed very unorganized with excessive packing on things that didn’t need to be wrapped and also left out small parts in the boxes with my lamps. I’ve had to order new lamp collars for all of my lamps because I’m missing pieces for the shades. They also just left random things unpacked and I had to pack them after they left. I also realized they did not pack any of my glassware in the kitchen because I didn’t point out the drawer under the oven, even though that seems pretty self explanatory. Also, there is damage to almost all of my furniture. Unfortunately I have mostly glass or black painted furniture and the paint has chipped on almost all my furniture somewhere. Second, the day before the move they call and tell me they can’t get their truck into the parking lot of my building and we need to pay for a “shuttle truck.” Why didn’t they figure this out before the day ahead my stuff is supposed to be loaded? I was promised that a truck would fit, and then we had to pay for the shuttle when it apparently became a problem when we signed a moving contract months before. Third, they told me my furniture and all of my stuff would be here Tuesday 7/2, then the driver tells me 7/4, then again it gets moved to 7/6. Today I wake up to a phone call from the Wheaton corporate office that they pretty much don’t know when I’m going to get my delivery but it’ll get there by 7/12. After talking to Wheaton, they hadn’t even talked to the driver and he was still set to deliver the next day. Which he did. Wade, the driver, was the most pleasant person working with this company. He was helpful, informative and very friendly.

I just moved 1000 miles away and I’ve been living out of a suitcase for a week already and sleeping on the floor on an air mattress in an entirely empty apartment. I have been spending money I need to save because I moved without employment, on pots and pans because I have nothing to cook with, doing laundry every day so I have clothes to wear, I don’t even have a table to sit and eat at. If I hadn’t also just gotten into a car accident where my car was almost totaled maybe I could afford a hotel until they got here but alas I don’t.. I would have never agreed to pay thousands of dollars to these people if I knew that this was going to happen.

Edit: to the person who rudely replied to my review. First, your driver told me it would be delivered Tuesday the 2nd directly to my face when I asked him when he picked up my load. How can you say I was not told that when you weren’t there? Second, I am not paying less than what I was quoted. I paid over $100 more because you all made us pay for the shuttle truck that was not our fault as you promised us the original tractor trailer would fit when we signed the moving contract over a month prior. Third, you should have still figured out the fact your semi wouldn’t fit further than a day ahead from loading my furniture, which is why I am not paying less than what I was quoted
