Amazing movers and flawless experience. Every step was on time and they communicated clearly throughout the process.

I DO NOT recommend CA-NY Express Movers! I recently used this company for my move from CA to NY. I paid close to $5,000 for their services and my upright piano was dented, my television stand was broken (and they refused to reimburse me even though the movers packed it up) and other sentimental items were damaged upon arrival to NYC.

The NY movers were unprofessional and had me pay them $100 in cash each (4 movers) since they had to park at the end of my street. They asked me to pay in cash since they wanted to get the 'long haul' fee instead of the company. I tried to save them a parking spot upon arrival but NYC parking is tricky. However, the parking spot I had originally tried to save opened up and they were able to move the truck right in front of my apartment. Still, he had me pay $100 (plus tip) in cash per person and I only agreed to pay as I was by myself and quite frankly, pressured as I have never moved cross country before.

Also, I kept hearing comments how our stuff was damaged and that the LA movers didn't pack it correctly. One of them even said, 'Everything is broken!' Which made me even more stressed out and when I asked him why he said that, he said he was just letting out steam. As we finished unpacking our stuff, I noticed damages in some of our furniture. Not to mention, our TV stand was broken.

I felt taken advantage of and my stuff wasn't properly handled with care. I expected more as I only moved 1 bedroom and paid around $5,000! I called and emailed customer service regarding our experience. For the damages, they said they'll only give us $250.

There is no other company that will be more efficient, timely, and careful with your precious valuables like these guys. Moving cross country can be so stressful, full of so many details and logistics, but working with CA NY express took a huge part of the process and made it EASY - they have tons of tips to help you pack properly and prepare so when the day comes it’s a breeze. I can’t recommend them enough. And the best part - 5-15 day window to have your home delivered, fastest in the industry. Look no further if you’re moving from CA <> NY!!

Worst movers ever!

I can't emphasize enough how wonderful my move experience was with this company. I had two weeks to plan a cross-country move from CA to NYC and this team executed it flawlessly and delivered my belongings on the exact day/time we had planned. Nothing broke or was even slightly damaged during the move — not a single glass. I paid about $3500 for the whole thing (a one-bedroom move, going up multiple flights of stairs on the backend, and paying extra for guaranteed delivery). Fantastic, clear communication throughout. Would absolutely recommend for anyone going through a move.
