This was our first time trying to ship a car to Taiwan. Our car was 3 year old but drove less than 10,000 KM thanks to Covid. That's the main reason we decided to ship back from Canada. As you can imagine, we know nothing about import/export rules and very little knowledge about the shipment process by sea. It's not a small cost, in total we paid around 800,000 TWD and it also took about 3 months until we could pick it up. During the process it was an anxious period for us. We put an airtag in the car so we can see it moved to Vancouver first and then Tokyo. Eventually it landed in Kaohsiung before it finally arrived in Keelung. There were a lot of communications between ship2TW rep Chesly and us as we asked many novice questions. On the day we went to her office to pick up the car, Chesly accompanied us throughout the day to get our license plate ready. I would recommend their service and we would use it again but we just don't have any cars left in Canada!
