What a complete nightmare of a company!
My daughters recent move was horrible. Mismarked boxes. One box marked 'plasticware' had one plastic fork and the rest were items from a completely different part of the house. They unpacked her footlocker, removed everything sentimental and crammed a dirty dog bed in it's place!
Hopefully the items will be found, probably in the box marked 'Eye brow pencil'.

Review:

Our experience was awful, and I’m disgusted by the lack of customer service and the disrespectful attitude of Shelly. It was a military move across the country, there were two shipments.

FIRST SHIPMENT: when they showed up, one of the movers asked me to put my dogs outside or in the garage because they were barking in their crate in a room the movers were not even going into. This was in November, and it was really cold, so of course I said no. He angrily stormed out and didn’t speak to me the rest of the move.

After they left, the top of our dining table fell down when we leaned on it because they never attached it to the base. Our headboard was not attached to the bed - they pressed it up against the wall so it looks attached. The legs of our patio table with a glass top were also not secured with hardware. They scratched our antique phonograph.

The worst part was a deep, long scratch in our freshly refinished hardwood floors. The scratch goes from our master, through the hallway, into the guest room. We immediately noticed the scratch in the hallway, but they hid the rest with boxes. During the move, I asked them several times if they will use floor protection, and they told me it wasn’t necessary because they know what they’re doing.

My husband is a disabled veteran, and I work full-time. It took us some time to unpack, and schedule a visit from a flooring specialist who evaluated the damage and gave us a quote. Because the scratch is so deep and stretches out throughout the entire upstairs, he couldn’t just repair the damaged boards, and he estimated that it’ll cost 3k to refinish the whole area. We will also have to move out for a week, and get all our furniture out.

After we submitted our claim with the 3k quote (we didn’t even ask for move out and lodging costs), Shelly wrote us an extremely rude email.

Shelly said it’s our fault that we’re in this situation because we should have refinished the floors before we fully moved in and unpacked. This is ridiculous because the damage was caused by HER MOVERS MOVING FURNITURE AND BOXES IN. She also said that the scratch was likely caused by us and not her driver who “did a walkthrough and would’ve noticed.”

SECOND SHIPMENT: every single item came damaged or completely broken: broken shoe rack, ripped sofa, and a new massage chair that was BROKEN IN HALF.

I’m extremely disappointed and quite frankly angry about this situation.

Review:

Military move. On pack out, movers hit a sprinkler and flooded our house and things. Sent to water remediation and luckily claimed fault immediately. Picked up from facility by the driver David stating all items received, upon delivery missing bottom half of couch, an outdoor Adirondack chair, large tv entertainment stand, and who knows what else within boxes. Sent movers home after truck unloaded even though full unpacking was requested and is an entitlement. Not company’s fault on that one but the bully of a driver who just wanted to get to his next drop off.
