C&C Moves

So glad we went with C&C Moves! Professional, great communication throughout the planning of our move, and personable. Super considerate with all of our belongings, and worked in a timely manner. Would definitely recommend them to anyone in need! Thank y'all so much!!

I hired C & C Moves to move my daughter from Beverly Ma to Arlington Ma on Sept 30th. After everything was loaded on, one of the movers told my daughter that he accidentally stepped on her 5ft tall mirror. He apologized and said “we have insurance to cover these kinds of mishaps” We paid in cash and tipped the movers very well since they were so nice and efficient.
A few days later, I reached out to Charlie about how to resolve the broken mirror issue. He responded “it was wrapped very well and tied securely, it just didn’t travel well and it didn’t appear to be anything elaborate.” I wrote back and told him thats a lie and he should check with his movers, because that is not what happened, the mover admitted he stepped on it, and said it would be replaced. Charlie then told me that it was just a “used flimsy cardboard backed mirror worth $30.” I told him that my daughter paid $129 for it one year ago at TJ Maxx, well, yes, it isn’t anything elaborate, but it was worth something to my 23 yr old and we were told it would be replaced. I have all text to prove his rude and unprofessional behavior. This was never resolved. The young movers were great, but the owner is condescending and unresponsive.

I moved from apartment to apartment and Charlie, the owner, came to my place and estimated the job to cost between $800 to $1000. The bill was over $1600 and two Ethan Allen pieces were damaged in the move, which at first he denied. I strongly suggest you not hire this company as it was one big headache. The owner does not tell the truth. After sending him pictures of the damage, he at first said he would have them fixed and then refused. He sent an email in which he said he prefers to be paid for half the job in cash. His crew arrived with too small a truck and had to go back for a second time. He said it was his biggest truck but his movers said they have bigger trucks which added to the bill. How I regret ever hiring this company.

Even though they were responsive and on time you get what you pay for. I will not use them again.
