TL;DR - I wish I had used Gene's Furniture again this time. I cannot recommend CCW movers. They charged me $750 on a $300 quote.

CCW quoted $300 for just moving the bigger furniture I didn't want to tackle. They showed up at 8:10 a.m. but billed me for starting at 7:30 a.m. After getting the furniture in their truck they left from my apartment 15 minutes before I left but they didn't arrive until about 20 minutes after I got to the house. I figured they stopped for something to eat, no problem. When they started moving my furniture in they realized they'd left their power tools at my apartment and apologized for everything taking so long with the little backup tool kit they had. They said they were going to stop by my apartment on the way back to get my tools and asked if I could be there to let them in. Again, no problem. I asked since they were going back if they minded throwing an old box spring in their truck to save me a trip, they did. Then when they got to the apartment they handed me a bill for $750, saying, 'We know we quoted 3 to 400 but...' First of all they never said anything about $400, only 'about $300', fair enough. But not more than double what they quoted! The bill charged for 7:30 a.m. but arrived at 8:10 when it only takes a few minutes to get from their house to my apartment. They also charged me for what was most likely their lunch break, unless they got lost. And even knowing and admitting that it took much longer because they forgot their tools they charged me for all that extra time. And to add insult to injury, rather than saying 'Eventhough we are going back to your apartment we'll have to charge you if you want us to haul that box spring.' They just charged me for it.
