These guys were great! Arrived on time and had my whole house furniture loaded and to my storage area in 4 hours. Great service, reasonable pricing.

Central Van Lines (Poca, WV), did an excellent job moving my furniture. I couldn't have asked for a better team - Frank who did the on-site estimate, Joyce in the office, and the movers...Brian, Victor and Zach.

Several pieces of my furniture are old and fragile. The guys got everything to my new home without any problems. They did an awesome job wrapping and protecting everything. Brian, Victor and Zach were easy to work with, courteous, pleasant and careful in how they handled the furniture and treated the house. I would hire Central Van Lines again in a heartbeat.

Review:

My husband and I recently moved from Dunbar to Charleston, and saw that this company had great reviews so we decided to move forward with them to help us make the move into our new home go smoothly. Donna was very helpful with getting us a date for the movers to come and gave us a reasonable estimate on how much it would cost. On the day of our move they must have given the good workers the day off and we got stuck with the 3 laziest ones. As soon as they came into the apartment we were moving out of they started complaining about all the stuff we had and continued to complain as they carried everything out. There was an older man who kept having to take breaks and shouldn't have been working, a black man who kept huffing and puffing and using our bathroom without asking, and a young hispanic man who was the only worker who understood he was there to do a job and didn't complain. When they asked where our new place was located they didn't realize they would have to travel up a large hill with their truck and basically said they would not have taken the job if they had paid attention to the address more closely, mind you they were given the address several months ago when we scheduled the move. They continued to complain that they were so tired going up one flight of stairs to bring our furniture and boxes into our new home, and they did not care about any of the items in our boxes and stacked all of the large heavy boxes on the smaller boxes that all said fragile on them which resulted in a few broken items. At the end when they took the payment they kept asking how much of a tip they were getting. We weren't going to give them anything, but we got guilted into it. This company is absolutely terrible. If we hadn't gotten their laziest workers maybe we would feel differently.

Thank you for sending me 3 wonderful men to move me. They were quick, respectful, and honest. They took care of my furniture as if it was their own. The gentlemen kept calling me ma'am, and i kept telling them to call me Kim, that ma'am made me feel too old. They honored my wish but I had to tell all 3 men... they were very respectful towards me. The biggest thing is honesty. I have to tell you that they found a $20 bill when moving the dining set and brought it to me saying they found it. I didn't know it was there, they could have pocket it and I would have never known. But they did not do that, they brought it to me and gave it back. I will always remember these men, John Smith/T'mone Anderson/Doug Hurtte, and continue to use Allied because of them. Thank you for selecting such good men all around for my move.
