This joke of a company took me for THOUSANDS of dollars on top of my initial quote! On top of that, they broke nearly everything marked FRAGILE, including my wedding China (which they were instructed NOT to take!)! Box after crushed box I sifted through what was left of my belongings. My t.v. is missing and I know that I'll never see it again! This company is a rip off and they are thieves! My next letter is to the BBB. Yours should be as well!
After being over thirty days late my things arrived. I am missing 2 boxes a arm chair and a sofa I don't know how you can lose a sofa! I had a broken flatscreen TV 2 broken lamps , 1 broken table, 2 china closets that have damaged bottoms from being moved with a hand truck instead of a furniture dolly, 2 boxes of chine completely smashed every dish bowl and cup broken even my ironing board is bent. ( I don't know how they managed that.) I still have about 10 boxes to open but its not looking good since they also look crushed and torn. This company is very unprofessional and should never be used. They must be stopped. So please pass this on. One more thing they don't have regular employees but hire them from CraigsList when they get in to town for loading and unloading so you don't know who your letting into your home. . I think any good review on this site must be fake since the people who posted the five stare reviews seem to have reviewed a few of the same companies check it out! they all had their teeth fixed in Tennessee got a security system in California had water damage cleaned up in Texas and a few had surgery in India ! or go to Yelp and check out whats said about this company. If you want to see how this company operates ask if you can stop by the office to pay your deposit or payment. I put in a claim to there insurance company but still haven't heard anything. They will only pay .60 cents pound for whats damaged or missing. So thats not a bad deal for the moving company they can take anything they want for .60 cents a pound!I paid this company close to 3000.00 and don't have much left to show for it. After all this time Im still seeing false good reviews on this site. Now its October and they are offering me 62.00 for my damaged things and for being late!

am waiting for my delivery of furniture which was supposed to be delivered on June 9th with a window of 14 business days. It's really late and I am about to lose my vacation deposit due to their truck issues. I don't understand a moving company that does not have a backup truck or plan B. I have called and the service department (Lee) has been nice but gives me the same response. He keeps saying that he needs to contact the owner. I feel like I am being scammed. They also stated that I need to pay in cash the full amount when delivered and then file a claim for the penalty for the delay. I am hoping I hear from this company real soon!

Horrible. Broken China, furniture, lamps and missing furniture. My cherished memories. I am so upset and speechless. I have pictures of everything. They will probably try to find some legal loophole to get out of the inexcusable sloppiness of the way they run their company. And to think I gave the loaders a generous tip because I thought they cared. Consumer beware!
I used this company for a long-distance move. They get you to secure their company with great salesmen. I spoke with a salesman named Todd. He was very friendly and accommodating. He even gave me three numbers at which to reach him – company, direct line, and cell phone. I felt like I was in great hands. I paid the $200 deposit to secure the move dates. I was told the movers would secure a delivery date with me when they picked me up (since I had to secure the elevator in advance at my new apartment building).
The day of the move – The window in which the movers were supposed to arrive was 2-4pm on a Friday. They arrived at 7:30pm. They tried to charge us extra for everything. They complained that we didn’t save them a parking spot for their 50 ft moving truck (which I was told they would not drive into Brooklyn, since the streets are so narrow). I reminded them that this was Brooklyn – and they would never find parking for a 50 ft trailer. Even if I wanted to save them a spot, they were three and a half hours late. They tried to charge us for a long-carry (they wanted to park several blocks away and have us pay extra). I told them to double park just like every other moving company does. I had to tell them this several times – because they kept trying to charge me extra.
They ended up charging us 50% more than our quote – even though we only went over the quoted items by 9 boxes, a guitar, a small garbage can and a mirror. I don’t think that required an extra $900. They also tried to write that we had extra “bulky” items that were included in the quote. When I tried to go over the list with the mover – he said, “I didn’t want to go through all that.” Then – they would not schedule a delivery date with me. I was told I had to call the moving service to schedule the date (even though they told me to schedule it with the movers at pick-up). Again – this was a Friday night, now 10:30pm. I felt trapped. It was late on Friday – I could not call the company for help – so I had to pay 50% more, because they now had everything I owned on their truck.
I called the moving company multiple times on Saturday. I left messages with customer service, dispatch and with Todd (the salesman who gave me three contact numbers). I never reached anyone at the company or had a phone call returned.
Sunday morning at 7:45am I received a call from the moving truck – they wanted to deliver my items that afternoon. They arrived at 3pm, and again, tried to charge us extra for a long-carry. Even though we were in an elevator building, and they were parked at the entrance by the elevator. I refused – since I had discussed this situation with the moving company in advance, and was assured I would not have to pay extra. The mover told me he wanted the extra charge and would call his manager. I told him to go ahead. They dropped an antique stand and chipped the side. The young mover who dropped it laughed and did not apologize.
I have used professional moving services 4 times in the past 4 years. This was the worst moving experience I have ever had. I called several times over the next few weeks to speak with customer service about my experience. They told me they would try to reimburse me for my troubles – I have not been able to get in touch with them since.
TLDR – Worst moving experience of my life. Horrible customer service once you pay them their deposit. Do not trust the quote you get over the phone, they will mark you up a large percentage (mine was 50% more than quoted). I would not use this company again.
I talked to approximately 10 different moving companies before deciding to go with Certified Relocations. I choose them because the sales representative (Todd Saunders) truly seamed to care about me and my move, he gave me his cell phone, direct dial number and main office number letting me know if I have any issues he would be there for me. He also promised that my belongings would arrive at there destination on a certain day. As the date of my move approached I called Todd a couple of times to try and determine the time the movers would come and collect my belongings, I never heard back from him. The office eventually called (the evening before they were scheduled to pick up my belongings) to let me know when they were arriving. I had no problems with the crew the loaded my belongings, however, the foreman of the crew asked me why I requested him specifically. I responded that I hadn't, he then informed me that he was scheduled to be off that day but was convinced to work because I had requested him personally. What kind of company lies to their employees like that? A week later when I am approaching my new home I get in contact with the driver of the truck. It was my understanding, on Todd's word, that my belongings would arrive the following day. I was informed at that point that it would be another 4 days until they delivered my belongings. I called Todd right away because he ensured me he would 'be there for me'. He didn't answer any of his phones. I called customer service to discuss the problem and was informed that they are in keeping with their delivery policy. If that is there policy I understand, what I don't understand is why Todd lied to me saying that I would have my belongings on the date I requested them. I then asked to speak with a Manager to let him know that I was unhappy with their customer service. This was a Friday afternoon around 3, the manager had left for the day and I was told he would give me a call on Monday. I never heard back from Todd or his Manager. In the end I received all my belongings with minimal breakage and I was really happy with the workers who both picked up and dropped off belongings, which is the only reason I am giving them 2 stars. What I learned from my experience is that their sales people will tell you everything you want to hear and not deliver on their promises. I was flat out lied to. Do no use this company there are many other moving companies out there that will take care of your belongings but not put you through the customer relations nightmare that I had to go through.
