Changing Places Moving

This is the second time I have used Changing Places. They always do a great job. Matt and Ricky were punctual, polite and efficient. I would recommend Changing Places for anyone’s moving needs.

From the estimate with Ron St. Amant to the move team of 5 - Andrew Ingham, Darius Vaughn, Richard Berry, Lead Team Member Brandon Anderson and Zachary Savage my move from my home to a condo was top notch. The team worked together flawlessly each person knowing what had to happen. I highly recommend this company for your move.

Don, Ricky, and Matt were an amazing team! They were beyond helpful, efficient, very hard working, and a pleasure to work with! Definitely would recommend these fellas again to anyone needing help moving! Thanks guys!

This place is highly rated, which is why I went with them despite being the most expensive of 3 quotes we got. I liked that someone came out to assess our home and I felt that would give us the most accurate pricing. So despite it being a few hundred dollars more than O’Sullivans moving (for same # of workers and trucks, 5 and 2), I went with Changing places. They call you weekly leading up to the move. However, on our move day, the workers took 3 hours longer than quoted, charged us overtime, and acted annoyed the entire time they went over. I also had to question the final bill and they admitted they were bath at math and miscalculated. We were told they’d reassemble our furniture at the new place and they tried to leave without doing one of our sectionals. Two small items were broken by them (no big deal) but we are also left with numerous drywall defects in a brand new build. Do you think the same owner who called us every single week leading up to the move ever once checked in to see howe we were after? No. They didn’t. I would not recommend this place. Please use O’Sullivans in royal oak. It was a mistake I won’t make again. 3 stars for getting the majority of our stuff here safely. However, for being the most expensive mover in the county and coming and giving an IN PERSON quote, you shouldn’t be three hours off in your quote. And you should absolutely check in with your customers after a job is so miscalculated.

We had a great experience with Changing Places! Chris’s quote was very close to the end cost. Clayton and Brandon did an excellent job packing up our house and were wonderful on moving day. Donald, Adam, and Joseph were all excellent on moving day as well. Very nice, efficient and careful with our belongings. Highly recommend this company!
