Very pleasant experience with our local move in Hummelstown. They do come by first for a detailed estimate. Movers on the day were very pleasant and efficient; and got the job done an hour earlier than the estimate! Highly recommend. Only feedback would be to send email confirmations once move is booked for clarity.

AVOID! The movers are pleasant but the storage vault situation is a total mess. Their office person, Emily, does not communicate clearly, and the contracting expectations were not clear. There is no transparent pricing and I experienced lots of hidden fees. It would've been much cheaper, flexible, and more pleasant all around to go with a different company and have my stuff in a self-storage facility, which the company bills itself as having. In fact it's storage vaults that have extra handling costs on both the placement and the extraction of-goods side of things. And they charge you for extra days even though it's their problem that they are short-staffed and can't do your move when you ask them to (with plenty of advance notice). I will never, ever, use their service again and I'm deeply frustrated with how I've been treated as a consumer.

Our movers were AWESOME. Showed up on time, were incredibly efficient, and listened to where I wanted everything. We did not have them move anything fragile, but I have no doubt they'd handle that well too. Highly recommend!

I cannot say enough good things about Groff’s! My husband and I have had bad experiences in the past with movers and were nervous about navigating a local move with two small kids. The two young men who moved us were kind, patient, and so professional! Everything from scheduling, the estimate, and the actual move was made easy by their team. Thank you!
