I recently hired Charlie's Angels Movers to handle the move of my 2,300 sq ft house, and the service was outstanding. The team of three professionals arrived right on schedule and managed the entire move—including disassembling two beds and transporting all my glass tables—within just 5 hours, with no damages. Their efficiency, care, and punctuality have made me a loyal customer. I would absolutely use their services again!
I've used Charlie's Angels Movers in the past and had excellent experiences, which is why I trusted them with my recent move. Unfortunately, this time was completely different, and I'm deeply disappointed.
From the beginning, the company's manager was fully aware of the challenges posed by moving to a home in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Despite being assured numerous times the company is capable of these moves; they sent an unprepared crew with a truck that couldn't navigate our private driveway. This led to a series of many hours of confusion and delays as their team tried to figure out a plan, eventually leaving to rent a U-Haul. After their return, my husband and I even had to step in and move boxes ourselves to keep things moving. The entire process dragged on for over 10 hours and the inefficiencies of your crew compounded the situation. It was clear that your team lacked the proper equipment, organization, and communication to handle the move effectively.
On top of the poor service, the invoice was much higher than expected. Charging us for over 10 hours of moving time, is deceptive and feels entirely unjustified. Furthermore, we were invoiced for a U-Haul rental, a destination fee, and other unclear charges. As well as leaving the moving truck at the base of our private road for more than 24 hours was another unnecessary hassle. These charges, combined with the substandard service, add insult to injury.
I have emailed the company twice to formally share my concerns, but I still have yet to receive a response. This lack of accountability in extremely disappointing, especially considering that the manager himself is well aware of the terrain in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Despite this, he assigned us a new crew and a moving truck that they were not suited for the conditions. What should have been a smooth and professional experience turned into a chaotic, stressful, and overpriced ordeal.
I cannot recommend this company based on this experience. If you're considering hiring them, make sure you proceed with caution.
WOW!!! These guys are the very best! We had a few pieces of furniture that needed put together, and moved to our living room and these guys were unbelievably fast, precise, and conscientious!!! The professionalism, and friendliness of these 2 gentlemen were refreshing. We have used a lot of movers in the past, but I can honestly say this group is THE VERY BEST OUT THERE!! Thank you!!
This is my third move with Charlie’s Angels Movers and Team Qui did not disappoint. It was a long day, but they worked hard and got the job done. Impeccable service from Brian (estimating) and the heavy lifters. Will always recommend them!! From Athens, GA to Asheville, NC
It's unfortunate that I have to write this review. I used them for several moves before (personal and business) but my last one was just very disappointing as it didn't even happen. I did everything requested of me and I even got an email that LITERALLY says 'No action needed from you' and then proceeds to confirm my move date and provides me with a time frame of arrival of 8 Am to 9 Am. I took my day off to move only to be told that because I didn't call back the office after they allegedly called (I never received any calls from them other than to do the virtual quote); I was NOT on the schedule. There really was no apologies for the inconvenience or any offer for a reasonable accomodation; nothing. Found a company with better reviews and even cheaper quote who moved me that same day without a hitch. I truly wish my experience was different given the past experiences and the positive feedback from the referrals I sent them but I will have to stop referring them cause I was told they have a new system and way of doing things. Good to know.
