I was referred to Christofferson's moving by a friend of mine. On April 22, 2024, phoned their offices to get information on moving appliances from Illinois to michigan. The lady explained that a Mr Shane will do a video chat with me over the phone and give me an estimate based on what items he would see. The lady set up May 24, between 10:00 & 11:00 AM that this video chat would happen. I forgot the appointment and.apologized
for missing the appointment. I asked if i could set up another meeting with mr Shane and she set it up on june 10, 2024 between 10:00& 11:00 AM.
I waited for the call, but no phone call came. I waited beyond the time range and finally called the office. The lady referred me to Mr shayne who was not happy with me. His tone was short, on the defensive saying he called me several times. I wasn't going to deal with him as I had checked my phone messages and I had received NONE from him. Apparently, christopherson video chat is much different then what I am use to with professional people such as attorneys, doctors, among others. My video chats start with a live phone call and then an internet connection. Mr Shane s phone calls were not phone calls, but text messages providing me a link to a software site that connected he and I. Perhaps, the clients should be better informed with the proper wording. Instead of PHONE , the word TEXT.

BUYER BEWARE!!! We used Christofferson Moving & Storage at least twice before and were treated fairly so we trusted them (BIG AND COSTLY MISTAKE). This move was terrible. We were deceived during the signing of the bill of lading. It was supposed to be a move based on our exact weight. It was NOT!!! We did not catch that it was a 'binding contract' as it was a very stressful time and who understands all the fine print of the bill of lading?!!! WATCH OUT...THEY WILL NOT GIVE YOU WHAT YOU AGREED TO!!! Bottom line ---- we were repeat customers but no more and we MOST DEFINITELY DO NOT recommend them.

Update: We received a very nice reply from the owner telling us that we were pleased during our 'visit'....we never had a 'visit'. All was done by the sales rep via phone. Also...the owner said to reach out to their team...well... we already did this several times and have NEVER received a call from the sales rep who did our contract. Shame on Christofferson. We also reached out to the United home office in St Louis and they were no help at all. So...our review remains the same. BUYER BEWARE OF CHRISTOFFERSON!!!
