Citywide Movers

I was quoted one rate by Nate, and sadly I could not supervise the move due to a medical emergency. So my family did and the movers doubled the rate. On top of that the move was right across the street, so why would it double so quickly? I had 25 boxes in the initial quote to be moved, half of them were moved. So now I'm looking at to asking family to help me move the rest. Also they go by family movers too. So beware, I really wish I could've booked the moving company I wanted the only reason I didn't is they were totally booked.

This company should be shut down. They are unprofessional beyond words. We had our move scheduled at 1pm and by 4pm no one had shown up or called to notify us. I called their office probably 10 times and left multiple messages to verify, sent emails and still no response. We called another moving company and they agreed to help us out same day thank God! Nate should be ashamed and embarrassed. Highly debating calling the BBB.

They moved me from Chicago to niles, I was happy when they re assembled my furniture exactly how I wanted , they were also the cheapest when I was comparing rates. I definitely recommend this company

This company does not even deserve 1 star. One name describes this company PIRATES. My daughter who had just gotten out of the hospital from having major surgery paid for full service including packing and the movers stole valuable electronics from her she was too ill to watch the movers and they took advantage of her situation. What kind of people would do that???? Now we have to file a police report because the manager Danielle Jones refuses to call us back. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

The original quote was provided on the phone and asked me for how many pieces of furniture I had in the place. Once the guys arrived, they told me it was “way more” which was a room of boxes, not furniture. Then they told me on site that I had to pay in cash which was $150 more than the original $330 quote. This is for a one bedroom apartment. Then they provided a packing materials list to nickel and dime you for everything in your place. It cost me $22 for a mattress cover and then $5 for the packing tape and if he used more tape then it was more. Then they claimed I had a free tv box yet charged me for the packing materials as well. If I had lived in my own place and not a condo, I would’ve fired them on the spot. Yet I needed to move in a specific time frame from The condo.
