Claudia and her incredibly supportive and gifted team of professionals were a godsend to my sister and I as we faced the multifaceted responsibility of preparing our deceased parents' home for sale in a very difficult market on top of trying to organize, pack and distribute the household property to multiple beneficiaries across the country. Even if my sister and I lived locally, instead of on opposite coasts of the U.S., we would not have had the time, emotional wherewithal or resource network that Claudia and her team were able to provide at every step of the process. Claudia and the CMFTO team were instrumental in helping our large family get organized after the death of my mother. There were a lot of moving parts of my parents’ estates and lots of family members—23 in all—to deal with. Claudia’s staff helped me organize my parents’ house and decide which items were worth selling to antique dealers and which were not. They brought in buyers so items could be sold to them immediately and moved out of the house. We worked with CMFTO to complete a multi-month process of downsizing a household, moving to a new property and preparing a property for a real estate listing and sale. Claudia and her team were fast, efficient and organized. With her help we quickly assessed what items would be kept, sold, consigned, donated or thrown away. We also wanted to take some extra time and energy to find homes for furniture and other items we felt would be useful to others. CMFTO was patient and helped to identify resources that helped with these efforts. CMFTO also worked with our real estate agent to prepare the old property for sale, managing the staging of the apartment for photography and subsequent tours for potential buyers. Each team - moving, packing, cleaning, staging - was careful, efficient and courteous. A key to success was a schedule, created so everyone knew responsibilities and tasks assigned to them. Claudia and her teams made every effort to accommodate our requests, schedule deadlines, last minute changes and of course surprises along the way. When the pandemic hit and my husband and I both found ourselves working from home, it became abundantly clear that we needed a more permanent home office solution. Claudia and her team transformed our spare bedroom into a space that felt bigger, looked more professional, and most importantly, was perfectly suited for both of us to use on a long-term basis. The entire process from initial consultation to sketches and renderings to designs and installation was easy, professional, and seamless.
