I recommend everyone who was been scammed by this company just like the other reviews to contact local departments like I have. I submitted complaints to bring justice of their fraudulent business practices with the FTC, California Attorney General, California department of consumer affairs, BBB, and will file through small claims court. This isn’t about the money it’s about what is right and what is wrong of them.

We hired CNJ trucking to do a one bedroom apartment move 1.8 miles away. We were concerned about time and the cost to move and they said they would send us two Hispanic movers to do the job quickly and it shouldn’t take more than 3/4 hours since the other apartment is so close.

They ended up sending one mover and one owner who is well over 70 years old. A 70 year old is not going to be able to move anything which was clearly shown. The owner kept dropping boxes taking phone calls and would just tell the other guy what to do since he couldn’t do anything. How can the owner take several phone calls when we’re paying to move by the hour?

Essentially we ended up with one mover and one owner who was just bossing the other guy and telling him what to do the entire time. This resulted in them dragging out the time to 5 1/2 hours to move 20 pre boxed boxes and 5 pieces of furniture.

They also damaged several pieces of furniture and dropped/crushed several boxes. A job that should have taken less than 3 hours with real movers took 5 1/2 hours since they only sent one actual mover.

Why tell us one thing and do another just to try to make some easy money? The owner was clearly thinking he could just sit there and not have to pay a second mover and just make the extra money doing nothing.

I had a friend witness the truck the entire time and he said the owner wasn’t doing anything just telling the other guy what to do. If they were only going to send one mover they should have cut the rate in half because it’s common sense the move is going to take longer when one guy is doing all the moving. Instead they deceived us with their fraudulent business practices to drag out the time just to make an extra dollar.

Worst moving company I ever dealt with. So expensive and take longest time to move. And the owner was very rude when I complained about the service. I will never use them again!
