We used them in 2023, we were satisfied with the move, the final cost, no problems at all. Our second attempt at a move with them was much different.

24 hours before our move, they let us know that they were changing our appointment time, making their arrival time window two hours later AND that arrival time window double the size than it previously was i.e. it was now up in the air what time exactly they would be arriving. That mattered a lot because we had freight elevator reservations for our old place and new place that couldn't be change with so little notice. Immediate red flag. Moving is already a stressful time and a moving company that's willing to add unnecessary stress on you 24 hours before you move is not a company we want to be doing business with. We immediately cancelled our appointment with them and decided to do the move ourselves. After cancelling, their sales manager reached out and claimed that they messed up and we could have our original time back, which wasn’t even true because they kept the arrival time window double the original length and only moved it back one hour closer to the original arrival time window.

From the 24 hour notice that they’re significantly altering our appointment time to magically claiming we could have the “original” appointment back once they realized we were cancelling the move with them entirely, this all seemed like a game that we were not willing to play. Anyone who deals with freight elevator reservations in the city, especially on a Saturday, would know that is a silly game to play. To us, it was worth letting them have the deposit then to risk them causing us undue stress on moving day. Going back and reading the reviews left in the last two years since our first move with them, we now realize we were probably in store for something much worse if we hadn’t canceled. We chose to use them again because of our first great experience. I don’t know what happened between our last move and this one, but we and our loved ones will never do business with them again.
