Run, don't walk away from Coleman Allied. After a great sales pitch by Dave, I went with Coleman Allied as it was a larger company and I was skeptical about moving brokers. I was assigned a moving consultant, Jessica, and told that Coleman would be handling everything from packing to move. Turns out that Coleman is nothing more than a larger moving broker. Dave was the last person from either Coleman or Allied that I saw during my cross country move. Not sure where they found the packers. They sent a team of 2 for a 4 bedroom house. One had never done packing (and it showed). Their supervisor was present for all of 10 minutes at the beginning of the job and was never seen/heard from again. Boxes were haphazardly packed and caving in before leaving the house. Entire closets were left unpacked and left me scrambling to get boxes to pack before loaders came two days later. They left 3 full size mattress covers for my 2 queen and 1 king mattresses and then told movers they couldn't make it out with correct sizes the day the loaders were there -- causing further delay. Don't get me started on the way they labeled/numbered boxes (found a box of framed pictures w each one individually numbered inside the larger box). Called Allied to express my concerns. Told my move consultant wasn't available, but that a message would be sent to her -- never had call returned. Loaders/movers (also not from Coleman or Allied) set foot in the door and supervisor immediately started taking pictures of the shoddy way boxes were packed to protect his team from liability. Placed a number of calls to Coleman prior to and during move. Never could reach my assigned move consultant -- spoke with a different person every time. Got a call back from the move consultant once. Dave who had provided his card/number for anything I needed was AWOL once the agreement was signed. Coleman Allied took zero responsibility for the poor packing (thank The only positive in the whole experience was the team from North American that actually moved me. They were professional, responsive, competent and kept me informed every step of the way. All in all was extremely disappointed with the customer service at Coleman Allied, considering making a formal complaint to the FMCSA, and would not recommend them to anyone.

They were on time and completed everything perfectly. No damage to our stuff or to the house. Used covers on floors and to our household goods.

I can’t say enough good things about Coleman American Movers. From the initial contact with Brian, the excellent job of packing and loading to delivery of my things across the country. The entire moving experience was great from beginning to end.
Highly recommend!!
