Was not told that my furniture would be delivered by a contract hauler. Numerous items missing from the shipment ( how do you not see a 24 ft extension ladder?). Too much damage. Some fragile items not packed properly. Packers at Macon home not experienced and poorly supervised (team leader had to leave house both days).
Prior to my scheduled move, the moving coordinator quoted me $100/hr with a 2 hour minimum. The week of my scheduled move, no one from the local office reached out to coordinate the pick up time and location for the move. I had to call the office myself. On the day of my scheduled move, the movers were 3 hours late arriving to the pick up location. I had to call the office again to see what was going on. My move took approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes. There was no type of discount offered for the inconvenience of the movers being 3 hours late. When my payment was processed, I was charged for 4 hours, not 2. After trying to reach out to both the local and national office, I wasn’t able to reach anyone who could even attempt to help with the billing issue. I tried sending a detailed email to the moving coordinator, who was unable to help either. She forwarded the email to the general manager for the local office, who never responded. Horrible experience. I will never use another moving company again.
Complete mess of a moving company. Showed up six hours late. Super tired crew. Did over $15,000 of damage to our items because of negligence and carelessness in wrapping furniture corrrectly. Run far from Coleman. Only good news is company who unloaded in the state we moved to was great. They took great pictures of all the stuff Coleman loaded and how horribly they loaded the semi truck. Would give Coleman zero stars if it was a choice.
