College Hunks Hauling Junk and Moving Ann Arbor

I scheduled my pickup online and my moving junk was gone within 4 hours. The crew was friendly and communicated their slightly ETA in advance. I preferred this company because we had a lot of cardboard and they recycle and donate rather than take it all to the landfill.

Excellent and honest service. I have used other movers a few times before. This is by far the best experience. I would use them again if I needed the service.

I would never recommend this company to anyone.

Worst move experience we’ve ever had and we move a lot.
We were scheduled to move on a Friday Morning and was quoted for 3 movers. The movers called me when they were on the way to our home, but failed to mention it would only be 2 of them. Once they arrived I was informed it is only 2 of them.

As they begin to move out items, I notice one of the movers struggling pretty bad. He could barely carry a small tote of baby clothes up the stairs. So my husband and I jump in and start to help the movers. We later find out the mover that was struggling was hungover. The kid almost threw up in our home. The entire move the hungover employee complained, used profanity, and at the end of the move when I offered them water. He declined and stated I will take a bottle of Jack (as in Jack Daniel’s) if you have one.

The same hungover mover took 5 smoke breaks while the lead continued to move things. At one point the lead mover asked if my husband could help him move some items as he didn’t have faith his coworker would be able to do it.

My husband proceeds to help him move our washer, a dresser. Then ended up moving our dryer himself because the movers wanted to leave it in the garage.

One the move was over I went to pay them. The mover who was taking my money was not sure how to calculate the total so he stated his boss would do it and send him the total. I proceed to pay and requested a receipt. Once I received the receipt it showed custom quote.

I called and asked for a break down of what I paid, at this point I was informed that I overpaid.

I’ve spoken to the manager Laura on multiple occasions. Everytime I speak with her she states she will call me back. She seems to lack the ability to follow up or respond to customers within a timely manner.

I have now filled a complaint with the BBB of Michigan. This entire company is unprofessional.

We have holes in our walls from the move. I had to get my nursery furniture stain treated because the same mover that showed up hungover. Also showed up with a black substance all over his hands. It ended up all over our cream nursery furniture, our white living room sofa, walls, and doors throughout our home.

Our movers were very friendly and were able to remove our bathroom demolition material. Would recommend for junk removal services.

DO NOT USE! Unreliable and hard to get a hold of/ unsatisfactory custom service

Would give 0 stars if possible. Movers never showed up at appointment and never called. Had to call multiple times to the company to check on a ETA but company was unable to provide it. Also refused to give number or name for supervisor. Ended up having to rent a u- haul and move by myself. Movers finally called 7 hours later, saying they couldn’t come.

Also talked to Laura who stated that she was going to work on getting a refund. She never called back either.

Family left negative review on the company website and someone said that they would reach out but never left a name. I also went to check website and it appears that they delete negative reviews.

This company is a joke and beyond crooked. Looking at other reviews show that people have had similar experiences. I wouldn’t wish this company on anyone.
