College Hunks Hauling Junk and Moving North Lake County

WARNING! Make sure you have someone give you a quote in person not over the phone. Let them see what you own upfront. My issue wasn’t the guys not working, they busted their chops moving my things to a new place, but in the same town. I received three quotes, one over the phone and two in person. Funny how each quote went higher and higher. The second quote was supposed to be 3 hunks, two showed up and Dioni apologized for being minus a guy but looked around and said the quote over the phone was incorrect after
seeing what I owned. He then canceled the move and asked if I agreed to 4 hunks and 6 1/2 hours at 1820 the next day. Ok, fine! Went from 1210 to 1820. 4 hunks show up and Mark (I guess the boss) was all nice and they start loading the truck. It took them from 8am - 3:30 to finish. My final bill 2663.00. He had the nerve to ask me who gave me my last quote and I said Dioni (they know each other) and he said Dioni was way off and hands me the final bill. I’m telling you I was scammed in the pricing and the process. Oh! Someone broke my tiffany lamp leg and Dioni called me and offered a 10.00 credit. What a joke! Do your homework people.
UPDATE: The owner is taking this seriously….really? I called four times! One guy called me after second quote sharing my concerns. Didn’t get anywhere. They ignore your calls, but I Do Not expect a call back and will look at this as a lesson. I will never be by myself surrounded by four males. Again, three of the hunks were hard working and respectful. Mark came across as intimidating and he was the one handling the final quote and payment. What’s a girl to do but to make sure she’s prepared with a second person assisting her.
